300 Boston Post Rd, West Haven“If you want the secret to the fountain of youth Sam has it! After coming here for almost two decades( with my kids now), Sam looks the same . Here's to a successful business and proprietor who's only expanded while others have disappeared . They store has the largest selection of tarot decks I've found anywhere . I've always appreciated the straightforward no b. S. Vibe. Amazing selection and variety of goods. Every space is crammed with exactly what you are looking for . I honestly just come for the free rainbow heart stickers . Love all their gift and goodie bag for dollars spent . It's fun to be a buoy in a sea of estrogen at Curious Goods but make no mistake they run a tight ship . Cheers to a store with family history .”
“As we cruised by, we stumbled upon this used book barn with a used CD collection priced at a whopping $1.50 each! Talk about an inflation slayer! You absolutely can't miss this gem if you're in the area. It's a budget-friendly blast! ?”
“Love this store! It's so cute and such a happy place. And the people there are so knowledgeable and nice. Their seed mix is expensive but worth the price. I tried a cheaper alternative and 2/3 of my birds stopped showwing up. I went back to their mix and word got out fast!”
“I’m excited how nice and cozy it is there. So clean, staff is nice and was really happy to see a cafe sitting area! It is really nice that they have a little toy area for the kids, my kids enjoyed it so much. They were entertained which made my time there more enjoyable considering that I was able to really look at the books before purchasing and not having to rush.”
“I can always find something to read at Books & Co and the price is right! Most books are in excellent shape. Plus, with trade credit it makes the price even better. Also, in addition to books, they sell both coffee and bakery items and a variety of small gift items. My kids are somewhat obsessed with their section of small unique toys (fidget spinners, squishy animals, etc) so it's a no-brainer to come here for birthday gifts and stocking stuffers. Highly recommend.”
“Cute and cozy bookstore cafe! Unfortunately it was quite crowded when I went so I had to take food to go. I had the daily vegetable quiche which had a delicious rich filling with mushrooms, kale(?), cheese, and tomato -- this went perfectly with the bright and acidic salad. I will echo that while the quiche crust was buttery and tasty, it was a bit too thick and underdone.”
“Nice place to get some studying done, or take a break from the cold. The coffee was pretty tasty and they seemed to have some home made pastries too. Lots of great books surrounding you to get lost in as well. Can get pretty busy during the day and the wifi wasn't very strong for me, but I got what I needed.”
“I love shopping here. So many different genres to choose from.. the only disappointing thing that I found is there’s only two shelves worth of true crime stories.”
“I traded in a stack of books and got a good amount of store credit. The books are veryyyy reasonably priced and she has a huge selection of books and if you’re looking for something specific you can just ask her and she will help. I can’t wait to go back! You can also keep an eye on her Facebook page because she posts pictures of new books she gets.”
“This is a gem of a place. The nicest staff you’ll ever meet, and best of all - books are all free! Make sure you donate to the cause, because they are soon running out of cash and may not be able to stay open long without your support”

“I had a wonderful time at this church's event, their Egyptian Festival was amazing. These generous people were kind and made me feel like a member of their church by giving me a tour of their church and also explaining the history of why they fled Egypt. Basim and his wife are good people. I appreciated their kindness.”

“Lots of stuff for students and tons of New Haven swag. Would like to see better organization of the athletic stuff (football specifically) to make it easier to find. Also bigger sizes for football stuff as players are generally XL or 2X or bigger.”
