I'm not sure why I'd have to give this place 1-star review. They deserve 0 stars. How are the letter carriers allowed to deliver to incorrect addresses, and face no repercussions or consequences for their lack of professionalism. I paid for "signature confirmation," and the letter carrier lied and stated that a request was submitted to leave the packages with a neighbor. This is completely false. What's the point of paying for a service that will completely be ignored at the destination.

the usps phone site is a disaster. cannot get through to a human being. they send us around in circles, and at the end cannot talk to a human or at least a human who has information. i could not get to a human on shield street to ask a simple question that was not automated. is it because of that disgusting guy that was appointed by trump? his job was to break the usps and i guess with this phone disaster that will help them to get us to hate the usps.

Poor customer service. They are not interested in the issues if a customer when it comes to missing mail or packages. They are beyond lackadaisical. When you go to the office they move without motivation and with long lines there is literally ONE postal worker with others buzzing about. It's maddening because there are numerous bad reviews but no changes!

Like any business this one has good and bad employees. The good employees do not deserve this one star rating. This one star rating is because 90% of the time you will be served by an exceptionally poor post office employee. This is the post office that gives all other post offices a bad name.

Thank goodness for the nice older lady who seems to be the only one interested in moving along the consistently long line at this place. It's always fun to watch other staff float around behind the counter and completely ignore a line of customers out the door. ON a recent visit, two passport appointments turned everything upside-down and held up the line considerably.

I live in an apartment building with 32 units. Our mailboxes are small, but our regular letter carrier will generally leave packages in front of our individual doors, if not on the floor in front of the mailboxes. We must have had a substitute or something this past week because packages were just not delivered and pink slips were left stating "no secure location available." This building is locked at all times and our mail area is inside behind a locked door. How is that "not secure?" I even have a note inside my personal mailbox stating to leave the packages on the floor there or by my door... after finding a pink slip in my box and no package, I scheduled my package for redelivery 2 days later when I knew I'd be home during the day. I also signed up for all of the text alerts regarding said package. It's now 2 days after my scheduled redelivery date and I have had zero communication about the whereabouts of my package. I started an inquiry with The Post Office and am waiting for them to get back to me to let me know where my stuff is.... I ordered this item from FL over 2 weeks ago at this point, and I feel like I'm never going to see it. STEP IT UP ELMWOOD!!! Update: after no info for a full week, I finally got a call from the USPS. They started a full-on investigation to locate my package! It appeared that it had disappeared off the face of the earth for 11 days, then it was suddenly found wherever..... Once it was found, I started getting the text notifications that I signed up for stating it was at Elmwood Post Office awaiting pick up. Package was undamaged, address was correct, and it existed in this plane of reality. God knows what happened for those 11 days, but I'm guessing the sandals I ordered went on an epic adventure in another dimension.

Only 1 associate for 10 people in line and half hour before closing. They should have more assistance as people come here after work. This is very poor.

I’m very satisfied with the kind and efficient service provided at this site. Without exception everybody was helpful, particularly Stacey who dedicated time to find a solution to my problem. Highly Recomended.

I have no idea what's happening with this location but I've had two consecutive packages that haven't been delivered or even attempted and I've been home. First it was this past Saturday, I was expecting my package and was ready to run downstairs to meet the mail carrier once I heard the buzzer. What happened? I saw him get off his truck without my package and all he had was a slip to pick up my package saying he had no access to the building when he didn't even buzzed! Then today, I was expecting that same package after requesting a redelivery and NOTHING. I had another package that was supposed to be delivered today and I just got the notification that they couldn't complete the delivery because the business was closed. I live in. Residential building so I don't understand what business was closed when this is a regular building. Yet again, I was home and no one is even buzzing downstairs to be let into the building. At first I thought it was a fluke, now it's intentionally being lazy and irresponsible. I will be taking this to corporate and go above the post office because they don't answer their phone and clearly they don't care enough to do the one and only job. I will report it to whoever I need to because this is unacceptable. I will be filing a formal complaint and getting local politicians involved since based on the reviews, nothing is being done about this place to remedy their gross negligence and incompetence. It is about time somethingis done about such terrible service.

They went downhill.... some employee are just pathetic. Their mail man doesnt even leave attemp delivery notes , hes plain lazy leaving package in plain sight of porch pirates!!!

First in line at time of opening on Saturday 1/28. There are 15 people in line but one person had a passport reservation. There is only one person working and we are all waiting it’s now a 25 minute wait. Please go private and how about getting Elon Musk to run the new private US Post Office. I am now being served but there are now 28 people in line.
