My package that required signature for delivery had a forged signature. The package was opened the contents stolen, and the empty ripped package left in my locked mailbox. How does it have a signature if they delivered to a locked mailbox? Due to customs regulations the price of the item had to be on the label and this is what made the delivery driver steal it I believe. It is a federal crime to open someone’s mail let alone steal it. I have filed a police report. How do they allow federal employees to commit federal crimes and get away with it? The employee must know there are no repercussions or how and why would they risk their job?

As a business owner who relies on providing hundreds of dollars monthly to usps it was very disheartening to get in line with 4 packages that needed first class shipping and being yelled at that he is simply too busy and if he helped me he would have a line develope.. I was told to go to the alternative shield street location as if my time and gas are free. Tax dollars used to pay these people who refuse service!? I’ll be reaching out to report this nasty behavior taking my complaint to OIG and the postal inspector! I suggest every one else who has experienced this behaviors to do the same

Need to hire a new employee! Saturday 1/14/23 afternoon: stopped in to send a pre-paid package. The employee was terribly slow and uninterested in customer service. It's this poor service from this specific worker that gives the USPS a bad name. This is not the first time I've encountered her. Last visit I walked out because the line was out the door and she was the only one working. Bottom line: slow & unprofessional. Try another branch if you actually want polite and timely service.

Currently driving to three different post offices because the online option only works if I’m standing at the delivery address and the phone system it absolutely infuriating. Since the carrier keeps marking that he handed Christmas presents to me, and didn’t, I now don’t have no Christmas presents or the funds to replace them. Long live Amazon.

Decent if you're using the self-service kiosk. There are times when it may be acting up, no physical receipt, trouble with the label scanner, but you can always have the digital copy sent to your email. Great for busy ebay and Amazon sellers.

I went in today around 2pm and was greeted by the lovely woman with the friendly kind smile. She was so sweet and patient with EVERYONE. I usually avoid post office because of the bad service, but this woman was different. She needs to be recognized. I believe her name was Melanie or Melissa I’m not sure. Either way she needs to be praised. 4/22 around 2pm.

This locations throughput capacity does not match the demand of West Hartford.It’s a catch 22 with the fact that this small place has one of the only self automated shipping stations. You ecome here to LaSalle Road, or you drive all the way up to Weston Street in Hartford for an automated shipping station.This locations drop boxes are always full and locked leaving you frustrated that you already scanned the product to mail, but have nowhere to leave it. Large packages or large envelope bins always fill up. Very very frustrating. Again, clearly the demand is significantly higher than the capacity this place is built for. This happens all the time.

My wife came into this location at 4:40, there was at least 10 people ahead of her before she reached the front of line, Melanie was talking to another customer and told this customer that “you’re my last customer” while my wife is still standing in line, haj called her over and began to help her, she told my wife to step aside to find the zip code she was looking for, when she found it she then went back to haj, my wife had to pull up the zip code and haj stated “you should know, you just pulled up” (in a very rude voice) Melanie then stated to her customer she was helping that “it’s always the last customer that wants to be a pain” my wife stated that “it’s unbelievable how rude you talk and treat your customers” haj then states “well you shouldn’t have came in 5 minutes before we closed” my wife then stated she was there waiting in line for some time to be serviced, with an attitude haj continues her onslaught of rude comments and attitude by saying “well you can go somewhere else if that’s the case” there should be no reason why customers should be treated and talked to in this type of manner, this very unacceptable and unprofessional, and to add insult to injury Melanie and haj both took customers that were behind her and made her wait even longer, whoever is in charge of reading the reviews should do something about this and other people who has experienced this type of behavior, I will make sure this goes all the way up to upper management if this isn’t dealt with soon

Very small location and only one person was working during a busy rush hour. Also, label stickers should be available next to the flat rate envelopes and boxes. I had to wait in line twice- once for getting a label and then another time once I was done filling it out. I could have filled it while waiting in line the first time instead of wasting an additional ~10 minutes waiting in line again. The person working was very nice and helpful, so that’s why I’m giving three stars instead of one. I got a parking spot right out front, but I also saw people going around back.

In my experience, the post office staff is friendly and efficient. They have a tough job, being bombarded with impatient customers all the time. A little slack, please.

Almost left in tears, so rude.Normally I would never review a post office, but the treatment I received at this post office was horrible... The post office worker, I believe her name is Selma, was so rude to my son and I that I can't let it go. All I needed to do was to ship two boxes, and she made the whole process so uncomfortable, so frustrating and so upsetting that I almost left in tears. If I have to use this post office again I will make sure to ask for a different postal worker to check me our, though it seems like she's there every time I go to this post office... Also as a sidenote, this is the second time that she has been rude to us.If you have a choice, avoid this location unless they initiate customer service training with their employees.
