I've been back and forth with this alarm company and my mechanic for several months. After installing the alarm system with this company, my vehicle continuously had battery issues. We've continuously expressed the issue with the alarm company, and they'd continuously point the finger to the mechanic and company of where we bought the vehicle. We bought this car in perfect condition, straight off the lot (GMC 2015 SAVANA VAN). Though we procceded to go to the mechanic and have the battery changed two times before we realized that the mechanic obviously wasn't the issue. Again, we expressed the issue with the company & still they said it was the mechanics fault and again... We brought the car back to the mechanic & they told us that it was the alarm company that did a lousy job & therefore that was the reason the battery kept dying. Tired of the constant back and forth and money going down the drain, we removed the alarm system and changed the battery one last time. After the alarm system was finally removed and the new battery was installed, we stopped having issues that we were having before hand (shutting down randomly, needing to be jump started, etc) with the car. It's been several months now talking to Jodi and her employees with no help on coming to a conclusion with what should be done from here foward. I am constantly driving back and forth from East Hartford to West Hartford to Jodi's & the mechanic in Berlin CT. I don't have the time, energy, or money to continuously waste. 7/11/2023, I went to the mechanic and had them write up an evaluation on the car and the work that he's done on it (including the issue with the alarm system). I also called Jodi right after, where I expressed my concerns with the first person who picked up, Anthony. I originally asked for a manager or supervisor, but Anthony said she "was talking another call" and that he "could handle whatever it was that I needed". After hearing about the situation, Anthony offered a reinstallation but we expressed that we weren't really comfortable with reinstalling because of all the issues we've had to deal with when working with this company but we would like to request a refund & would be able to provide information on behalf of the mechanic expressing their concerns and how the alarm system company is at fault. Anthony then put me on hold, and transfer me to Jodi, the owner. Jodi, did not introduce her self but instead started off saying, " we've already talked about this. I've already told you that it's the mechanic fault, and if that mechanic can't fix it then you should go to a different mechanic". I've then expressed to her that she is now speaking to a different person, so reinterate herself. (This back and forth issue has been happening with my mother & father, who are foreigners that are not very fluent in english and Jodi, the owner. ). Throughout the conversation with Jodi, I get absolutely nothing out of the conversation.. No help, nothing. Just extreme disrespect and bad customer service. Me and Jodi, begin aguring, she continuously says that it's the mechanic fault and does not wanna have a conversation. Just wants to let her statement be known and that's that, nothing more. I told her that I no longer have time to keep going back and forth and driving back and forth. She didn't even introduce herself, I don't have any clue who i'm talking to and when I expressed that.. She says, " I don't either, who are you? you don't even sound like the same person I was talking to before" there's much more but unfortunately there's a character limit. We will no longer work with Jodi and her scam of a company. She is horrible, and extremely unprofessional and I suggest those of you who think of going to her to go elsewhere, to people who will value your concerns and issues. This place does a batchy work and they are extremely unprofessional and disrespectful, especially the owner. How can u be an owner and run a buisness when all you do is agure with your customers rather than fixing the issue that is being expressed to you. Don't recommend this place at all..

The owner Jodi, is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. This place is a scam. This place will mess up your car & not not take accountability for their mistake but instead argue with you & point fingers at others.

I recently had an issue with the stereo in my truck not working. I initially had it looked at by a car audio technician from a different business, and after having my external amp replaced and some troubleshooting performed I was still left with a non-working stereo system, his thought was that it must be the radio, granted the truck is almost 20 years old with the original OEM radio still installed. A week later I took the radio out an had it looked at by Anthony at Jo-Di's Radio Repair in west Hartford, and within minutes of my arrival Anthony had the stereo hooked up on the test bench and it was working flawlessly. I then scheduled an appoint with Jo-Di's Sound Center for the following week and Anthony found quite a few issues as to the cause of my not having any sound coming out of my speakers. I appreciated the fact that he kept me informed of the progress he was making and the problems he was finding as he performed his troubleshooting. I waited in the store the entire time the repairs were being performed and at no time during my visit did he or any other employee in this store try to sale me on any of the audio components they carry. I am very impressed with this business. These guys know their stuff, their prices are fair and they are complete professionals. I would go back to them in a heartbeat.

I called Jo-Di's this morning to ask if they could reconnect an antenna cover that came off. Jodi was as welcoming on the phone as she was in person and she put me at ease right away. When I went to the shop, there was no wait; her technician looked at it and within minutes it was reconnected and fixed. Jodi charged me a super reasonable rate and I walked out happy to be able to tune into my radio again! I will definitely return if I have any future audio issues!! Thank you, Jo-Di's!

I can't recommend Jo-Di's of West Hartford highly enough. Excellent and attentive customer service, a comfortable environment for waiting, and knowledgeable staff. They walked me through everything post-installation and invited me to call with any subsequent questions or concerns. Thank you, Jo-Di's!!!!!

My 2014 Mazda CX-5 needed a replacement radio. Jo-Di's in West Hartford installed a Boss unit (because of the chip shortage the Alpine unit I wanted was back ordered). A few months later when the Alpine arrived they swapped out the Boss unit (didn't charge me for labor). The unit was quirky. After hours of work (again- no charge) they discovered a pinched wire. My IPhone now works perfectly with CarPlay. Thanks to Jo-Di's for hours of pleasant, professional, competent interaction. I'm a super satisfied customer.

Absolutely fantastic! Reasonably priced great sounding speakers. Bought a set of speakers for a friend as a gift for Christmas and she lost the gift card to pay for the installation! A big box store would have told me I was out of luck but Jo-Di looked everything up and honored the lost card. Happy to support such great local small businesses!

The service and professionalism was top notch. They did a great job replacing a couple of the speakers in my car and adding Bluetooth to my factory sound system. You get what you pay for and I think it was well worth the price.

Service after the sale is important and Jo-Di's exceeded expectations in that department when I needed some system tweeks and a subwoofer upgrade. I got an awesome stereo here and cannot say enough about the place and its owner and her employees. They also work with a finance company that can instantly approve a loan. If you choose to pay back that loan in 100 days there is no interest. Everything went great. Thank you kindly, Jo-Di's. :)

Made an appointment for a remote starter to be installed in a Lexus RC350. Arrived a little early they took the vehicle immediately and while waiting in their shop the install was done in about an hour and a half. All is working perfectly. I would definitely go back ...very easy and pleasant experience. Thanks guys

Wanted a remote start for my Subaru and had no idea what to ask about. They asked me a few questions and then made the best recommendation for me and my car. I paid a fair price, my car was finished on time, and the nice young man that installed it for me even came out to give me lessons. I would highly recommend.
