“I recently rented a truck from Penske Hartford, I was going to rent from U-Haul which is a more convenient location for me but U-Haul's reviews were terrible.Definitely well worth the extra travel time for me to go to Hartford, the customer service personal behind the desk were exceptional. Extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable. When they found out how many miles I was driving they volunteered a per mile discount on the mileage charge. Their advertised rate is already cheaper than anyone else but they helped me out with an even better deal. Truck was like new condition with zero problems.The following week I returned again to rent another truck and had the same experience. They were also very flexible with me in regard to the return time which I appreciated very much.If you are looking for a hassle free pleasant experience for a truck rental I would highly recommend Penske. I actually never write reviews but the service was so exceptional I feel compelled. 5 stars all the way.”

“I have used budget on two occasions. Once is 2019 and again July 2022. I would suggest to make a truck reservation ahead of time because trucks are now rented out more frequently for small business users. Although they didnt have many trucks this time around Liz was more than accommodating to my needs during her hectic day. we has super kind and polite. I would definitely recommend just prepare ahead of time.”

“I didn't expect to give them a 5 star, but their truck stopped on our hilly street and delivered them on our long gravel driveway and picked them up. Without getting wordy, the uboxes were stored for 6 months and the contents were dry and undamaged when we unloaded them 1800 miles later. No issues whatsoever.....I hope future moves go this well. “I reserved a truck on August 1, 2019 for Saturday August 3, 2019. I met Bob he was very kind, respectful and professional. I had no problem reserving the truck! I didn't have to pay in advance! “Today I observed an incident that speaks to the caliber of people working at Plainville UHaul. There was a customer who had an unreasonable request for a cash refund. He was relentless! He continued to badger her and he wouldn't leave. I've worked with the public for over 50 years, and I don't know how I would have handled it. I felt bad for the 3 people at the front end who were trying to help other customers, and I also noticed a camaraderie among them as they supported each other. The young man who waited on me continued, unfazed, smiling, knowledgeable, and polite.Who wants to move? No one I know. Let's try to be kinder out there to the people who are charged with enforcing rules they didn't create. Nice job, Plainville!”
“Great staff and customer support. I did run into issues with the app not able to find my location; which is step 1 of the self pick-up. I switched to using the website instead of the app and it found my location right away. Then I had issues on step 2 with the selfie, when I submitted the picture it would refresh the page and start all over from the beginning.The staff in the store tried to assist, but eventually helped me get checked out at the counter.
