“Easy to drop off your donated items, and you help your local community. The staff will come to your car to unload items as well. You can also get a receipt - for tax purposes - for your donation l.”

80 Town Line Rd #3, Rocky Hill“This is my favorite thrift store in the area . I come here atleast once a week . The employees are all very helpful and super friendly. Coming here is like therapy for me and I always leave happy. I've accumulated a nice closet full of vintage clothing. The home decor section is good too.”
“This is one of my favorite thrift stores to go to. The layout is very easy to find things. The prices are great. Much less expensive than Goodwill. And they’re giving to a great cause. The turnover is fast so you could go there every week and find something new. The staff are lovely.”
“Clean store, lots of selection, and great staff. Price wise could be better. Also the parking lot could be better. I understand there is not alot of room but there is almost no parking. Other than that, I know it's early but I found the perfect Christmas tree that I was able to decorate with Halloween skeleton for the mean time. Other than that I will be coming back because I love treasure hunting and this is a large enough store to do that in.”

331 Cottage Grove Rd, Bloomfield“I went to Goodwill to look for some large picture frames, to frame some prints that I have. While I did find some very nice picture frames that were real wood, they were not the correct measurements that I was looking for. I figured, I would look at the dishes and glasses section since they had a large inventory here. I could not believe what I found here. I found a Tiffany & Co plate. One singular plate. A single Tiffany plate retails for $150. This wasn't even in the glass, with the jewelry and the finer pieces. It was just floating around with the rest of the glassware. It is so beautiful, white, porcelain with lily of the valley flowers engraved all around it. There isn't a single nick anywhere. It was marked at $1.00. I also saw a full set of Mikasa dishes. You just never know what kind of treasure you may find hidden at your Goodwill. There's plenty of books, clothes, and some furniture. They also had a nice coffee table. Some sections can be pretty messy, but when you find a hidden gem, you know it was worth your time.”

349 New Britain Ave, Plainville“I was having a bad day, I came to the store because I had alot of clothes to donate, The energy of the employees was very favorable, however the employee with the braids, he was very respectful, and had very uplifting energy, i had gotten alot of stuff and felt bad about how many items he had to checkout, but he held a nice small conversation, i can tell he loves his job and i have always seen him very respectful and helpful with other customers besides myself.”
“I come here from time to time. Usually find some cool things. Smells a little musty inside but hey.. it's goodwill... not a delicious eatery and so I leave it at 5 stars. Staff is nice and there are usually a fair number of people.. but the store is pretty spacious. Entrance from the street is a little confusion (from the side by the pizza restaurant) ... but parking is plentiful!”

350 Queen St, Southington“Staff was very friendly
The last who helped me was very patient as I looked at quite a bit in the case
She had a smile on and was happy to help
Prices seem to still be at regular store prices while send to be what's happening lately with USED ITEMS!
some shoes were still at 10/15$ and they had so much damage to them
Furniture area definitely needed to be cleaned up
I go to this location often and don't really find much of anything. Maybe 1 item that is still over priced”
“I’ve been coming to this goodwill for years and highly recommend. I just lost my phone in there and everyone on the team was SO KIND AND HELPFUL. Such nice people. I really appreciate it!”

“"I'd pay any price just to get you I'd work all my life and I will To win you I'd stand naked, stoned, and stabbed I'd call that a bargain, the best I ever had" (The Who) When you find out that a thrift store is running a "35% off" sale to mark their 5th anniversary, well any bargain seeking red blooded American would head on over, just like we just did. The store is larger than the one we customarily visit in Simsbury, so I didn't feel cramped walking around alongside a fair number of fellow shoppers. It's very neat and well organized inside and seemed to have a lot of merchandise. I saw the usual dishes, housewares, women's and men's shoes (including some gorgeous Air Jordans), shirts, blouses, outerwear, pants and jeans, plus sportscoats and men's suits ($25 or so). Some of the more unusual things I saw was an impressive collection of "I Love Lucy" memorabilia, and hiding among the audio CD's was a William Hung CD! He made quite a splash on American Idol 20 years ago, and if you're too young to know who he is, go check him out on YouTube. I bought a long sleeve white dress shirt, a red tie, and my wife bought a long sleeve top. After the 35% discount we paid an obscene $16 for everything. Yes, quite the bargain indeed. PRO TIP Parking is a bit of a toss-up, their lot is micro-sized, so you'll probably end up parking on a side street like we did.”
