Excellent book shop! Visiting this area from Texas and I wanted a local book shop that you didn’t find anywhere else. This place was perfect. It provided amazing options and staff’s opinions about the books were throughout the store. This store is also in a cute little home!

This is a very nice bookstore and the staff are friendly! The book selection isn’t as large as the Glastonbury location, they seem to have less queer books here & there’s not as much horror genre books at this location but those are just my two favorite genres so I’m always looking for them. Otherwise a very cute and quick bookstore stop if you’re in the area.

This is a fantastic bookshop that I love to visit! I am always able to find a good array of books. If I can't find what I need, they are able to order it and contact me when it's available to pick up. Their prices are fair and their staff members are friendly!!

So parking - there is some street parking, and also some reserved parking on the side of the building. I was the only car there so I have a hard time picturing multiple cars parallel parked, then having to turn around in the small restaurant parking lot behind them, and make it back to the road. But hey, it must work! The shop is in an old house (whether it was or is by design I'm not sure), and about five rooms including the hallway. One room is for children's books, the rest for adult. They have a good amount of books, and a lot of well defined sections. They even have a staff picks, which I enjoy. But their selection is also, at least for fiction and thriller, also very much what's popular. I can't fault anyone for that, but I also had a hard time finding something exciting I haven't really seen before. Though more than anything what I would like to see is more chairs. It gets awkward and warm in shops trying to continually bend over and compare books, trying not to drop them. But if you need a gift for the reader in your life, this is a fantastic place. There are cards, stickers, book related paraphernalia, and you leave with a complete package (yes, and a book too). You're able to build a good value by your final purchase!
