I recently visited peoples bank in west hartford, ct. on farmington avenue. I had the pleasure of being serviced by a teller named Robert. He as very pleasant and had everything ready for me when I entered the back as I had called ahead regarding copies of my interest for 2019 for the IRS. He is very knowledgable about bank procedures. I asked him about my stock that was forwarded to people's bank from farmington bank in the merger and he referred me in the right direction. He is a pleasure to work with and you are lucky to have him.

Slowest driver through service ever. Most time I have to come here Im waiting ateast 20 minutes. And the drive through atm and teller window are in the same lane so you have to wait for all the people using teller service just to drive up to the atm. Poor design and obviously poor processes to take such a long time

I had the most amazing experience with Marjoyrie McCall today! After many people were unable to help me with a claim being processed that I had filed weeks back, she spent a long time with me to get to the bottom of it! It’s so evident she really cares about her customers and I will be returning to People’s Bank West Hartford thanks to her!

Been with United Bank for 15 years, been nothing but problems since you guys took over. Oh, and the day congress releases round 2 of PPP funds, you guys decide (same day) to close your doors to appt only, and your phones are constantly busy or down, you provide zero online abilities to apply, despite doing appt only, of all days. Oh, get this, I finally get thru, and your PPP person, took a day off?! Told me try again tomorrow, funds will be gone! This is awful.

Mostly rude staff. They leave you standing there in line while they walk around doing “more important things”.

SLOW service, I'm 9 minutes in drive through. Still waiting for the teller to finish transaction. I asked why so slow? Car In front of me had teller go back to computer 3x I told her I was a teller and we told customers like them to pull over and come in...teller says against the People's policy, you'll get written up if I do. The wait is outrageous- this is no home town bank.

I've been using People's (typically this branch) for almost a decade and the quality of their service has plummeted. Just as they finally catch up to every other bank's online banking services, they've lost sight of basic customer service and problem solving skills among tellers and managers in this branch. During three separate visits in the last 30 days, they have made the same mistake of putting my money into closed or incorrect accounts. On all three occasions, I've had to point out the error. I don't plan on using People's Bank any longer.

While the tellers are pleasant and seem to be trying their best, wait times are extremely long. I'm probably going to change banks as a result. It isn't the tellers' fault but the management's. They are busy at lunch time because people go during their breaks. However, the bank employees also take their lunch breaks at the same time and so there is a shortage of teller. Bad for business.

Forced CNN exposure at this branch... Although asked several times to just turn off and donate tv to charity, management insists on CNN exposure, perhaps for political reasons. Can't we just do banking without politics... The people here are nice though..
