London Shop is a nice, old school, neighborhood "packy". Not an overwhelming selection like those other big box warehouses that just seem to lack that personal touch. Here, all of the basics with enough options of each wine (by region), sprits, coolers with your standard brewed beverages, and a well selected local craft ales. Staff take a "not on your face approach" and let you browse, of course, if you have a question, they are nearby to assist. Now for my secret, right next door is our favorite paint store, so I always volunteer to go get another gallon of paint and a 4 pack!

Yes, they have a great staff- friendly and helpful. However, West Hartford has a mask mandate for all businesses inside. No one at this shop wears a mask- very intimidating. Thinking about shopping elsewhere until the pandemic recedes.

Their recommended selections of wines have been very good. They are not big labels but most are in the $10-$15 range. They have most of the major wines too. I purchase those from the bigger distributors but I come here for the small hidden treasures. Macallan whisky prices are also pretty good. Good customer service too.

Strange..no website..and they dont give you a receipt at all. If you used a credit card. have no idea what the price is..no lroof.

Went in to this liquor store the other day with a friend of mine. As we walked in my friend sat on a bench they had in there, I went to look for what I wanted and they asked my friend for his id and he didn't have one so one of the workers ask him to leave as he's getting up to leave he says it again in a more demanding way. Then the man comes over to me and asked for my id and I gave it to him and he thought it was fake. Didn't give me a reason why he thought it was just said it looks fake even though it's a issued adult learner permit from the dmv. Very scary for someone to work at a liquor store and thinks a real id is fake. Just shows he doesn't know how to tell when a Id is real or fake I will not be coming back into this store and it's sad because I live right next door in west gate apartments I'll take my business down the road or to total wine near the mall there service is better.
