“I have been going to this Liquor Store for over 5 years. Eddie & Natalie has the best customer service ever to the point that have I grown a friendship when them both. Eddie has also allowed Lisa to sell her food here & it is deeeeeeelllllllllliiiiiiiisssssssshhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! I promise once you go here, you'll become a regular too. “I've been going here a lot ever since getting into wine. The employees are knowledgeable not only about wine, but about saké and shōchū, which is pretty impressive. The prices are good, the selection is solid, and the employees are very polite. The only complaint I have is sometimes the shelves are not always stocked, so sometimes I'll be looking for something and they are out.That said, it's a really nice little store with good people working there so I can overlook occasional inventory issues. I've never had anything but good experiences in there and I'd recommend it to anyone.”

“There are some things that are safe to judge a bottle of wine by, that is the year of production and the country of origin. One thing that you should not judge it by, is the packaging. I was in a rush, to a baby's baptism, I stopped by Harvey's in Bishop's Corner for the pre baptism party which I wanted to bring a bottle of wine to. As I walked inside a gentleman, for all I know he might be Harvey, came to assist me with selecting a wine. He told me about some of the taste profiles, he was very knowledgeable about the products in his store. Then I spotted a Chardonnay called Prayers of Saints. What's more fitting than this for a baptism? I didn't take my own advice, I got it based on the packaging. However, the gentleman did reassure me, this was a good pick. It's light and refreshing. There are also plenty of other liquors, beers and wine options at Harvey's. I would stop by when I need to pick up something for a gathering.”

“Parkview has all the things you'd expect, plus the best selection of hard-to-find craft beers from across Connecticut and the entire northeast (e.g., Other Half, The Alchemist, Frost). They also have a huge selection of rare bourbons. Definitely worth checking out.”

“London Shop is a nice, old school, neighborhood "packy". Not an overwhelming selection like those other big box warehouses that just seem to lack that personal touch. Here, all of the basics with enough options of each wine (by region), sprits, coolers with your standard brewed beverages, and a well selected local craft ales. Staff take a "not on your face approach" and let you browse, of course, if you have a question, they are nearby to assist. Now for my secret, right next door is our favorite paint store, so I always volunteer to go get another gallon of paint and a 4 pack!”
