Spent 20 min shopping for pants and looking around the store. I headed to the dressing rooms and asked to use a room to try on the clothes I had chosen.....only to be told (at 630pm on Saturday!) that she had just locked all of the unused fitting rooms (right in front of me while I waited near the first room, because they "close in 30 minutes." What? There were other people using fitting rooms and still are, at 6:40. I asked if she would put the items away, and she took them with no comment. No apology. Nothing.This was a very poor decision on the store managers part. I've never heard of turning away customers in today's day and age. Bummer J. Crew, I always loved your clothes. Not anymore.

Location is convenient, but parking is awful. The ppl working there are not helpful or friendly. I smiled and said ‘hi’ to 2 different employees (neither of whom were doing anything) and they each made eye contact with me but neither responded at all, not even to slightly smile back. Odd. When I needed help to find a size, they weren’t helpful. Everyone there seems to hate being there, and acts resentful towards customers. One person doesn’t know how to run the register, based on multiple separate interactions, on different days. I won’t be going back. Why would I spend my money to buy mediocre (at best) clothes to be treated so poorly? The steadily increasing prices and decreasing quality won’t be bringing me back either.

Excellent customer service in the children's section in West Hartford. I visited there on Thur. 8/31/23 around 5P. Very helpful young lady.

Do not bother to purchase the v-neck women’s tee shirt. It is way too low cut, so you might as well not bother! You have to wear another layer of clothing under it, so why bother? And they claim to sell quality clothing!

My husband and I stopped in while our running errands this past long weekend and we were so pleasantly surprised by our experience. Not only was the store clean and organized, but we were able to find so many great items for both my husband and our 3 year old son. I was elated to find several matching shirts for them to wear over the summer, which I look forward to seeing them in together. Prices were great and having the teacher discount on top of it was excellent. When we went up to the register, the young lady behind the counter (Lauren A) was patient as we troubleshooted which email my J.Crew account was linked to. We ended up sharing some small talk about my husband and I being educators and she was very sweet in engaging about our jobs, summer break, and which grade levels we worked with. She was so positive and genuinely happy/helpful. This wasn't exclusive just to us either. We overheard similar interactions with her and other customers in line before we approached. She was just a kind person, who seemed dedicated to her job. We will definitely return!

The SA's( Sales Associates ) and managers are so very welcoming. I was looking for the Chelsea Boot in my size, they didn't have it in store and they kindly ordered it and had them ship it to me. I was also having a hard time locating the Zoe suede d'Orsay flats and there was a display size 9 and it was the only one in store. The SA told me that I can have it and kindly found a box for me. Each time I come here I am welcomed and the the deals are so worth the hectic parking situation with Corbin's Corner.I cannot wait to go back and see what I can find!

shop was impeccably clean, organized and welcoming. Hooray! Their summer sale takes your breath away! Deep discounts on all summer dudes. I came away with a very darling sleeveless Henley T-shirt for a shhh steal. Can't wait to go back when I am nearby. Please train crew in store to greet incoming customers - we love to be greeted!
