“Loved this place! We got pappardelle cut fresh + some of their bolognese sauce. It was really delicious, some of the best fresh pasta I’ve had. The tiramisu was excellent also! We will definitely be back.

“Today March 22, Friday afternoon at about 2 pm while going through the check out the cashier told me the police were called on a man being belligerent and not me and thoroughly explained to what had happened. It was a man was being belligerent towards us Jews and supporting Palestinians and Palestine , and the war in Israel, and that's why the police were called.Thank you very much Crown Market (especially the cashier)Definitely Worth more than the 5 Star rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ + Lucio says now that's healing. I noticed 3 people just passed him talking or arguing???While shopping I ran into a store employee that I've known from before showing me items and new items too that would have cause me to give the Crown Market 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BTW her name is Karen, same one who waited on me going through the check out, until......While I'm going through the check out I noticed that the West Hartford police was there standing next to the office was the owner of the Crown and a woman was there too taking amongst themselves.I can't help that the owner of the Crown market called the police on me.If so, what did I do to you.(Who called the police, what is the nature of your complaint , what is your evidence?).As a healer this was most injurious (anytime the police are calling on me or otherwise just happen to be there or show up.)This isn't about me it's about everybody as I don't like it being done to someone else either I'm very big a how one treats another.I'm a healer who is a empath, a empath who is a healer, I'm known by some as Lucio the healerThis was a non contact incident as I was not stoped by the officer and or store personnel when I was leaving the store.Shorty after I left the store I passed by it on 62 bus heading back to downtown Hartford and the police car was gone.It's entirely possible that the store has a problem with my attire.I wear black leather biker jacket and black leather pants and black sunglasses and my vinyl biker jacket and pants which is black smooth and shiny and many miss treat me as a result this is prejudice and profiling .I am that I am a Jew who wears leather.From Lucio the healer ?❤️‍ ”

“I love this place!! We had never been to this one, but stopped before we went home after the Core Classic at the XL center this weekend. I got a hair serum, and it works really well on my hair. I love it and will definitely be buying it again!!”

“Fair, an honest review.
I found a couple things that bothered me. First thing is the Meats section a lot of the pork is Brown instead of pink or red so we all know its not to fresh Mind you. I'm not saying get spoiled, but I am saying it's not fresh. I find that to be highly disappointing as it looks old, The department's manager or Store owner, please keep an eye on your meats. There was also an area by the milk section where there was wet floor in paper, towels down to clean it and left there.This is a maintenance issue. Again, something small that can be fixed easily by speaking with the maintenance people. Store could definitely use more updates.
Still feels like an old factory when you walk in. Alright, guys. Now it's time for some of the pluses, I was able to find Different varieties of Pringles, some of The Other objects. And items that I saw were quite delightful to see there and the price as well was not too bad compared to other stores.
It's not a bad place to go shopping. But just keep an eye on produce and meets that you buy there. Ask ghost for any store. Like I said, this is a fair and honest review, i'm have some pictures.I want to post so that way you can see what i'm talking about Store owner. “We went to try this place for the food that they serve and to our surprise the variety and selection there. The food was fresh and was really tasty.
They even serve food like chat and all on request.

The shop was stocked well with Indian grocery and even has meat available in the store.

The sweet variety is also really good. Its similar to sweet shops .”

“I usually don't write reviews about Aldi's but I have to admit that their food prices are cheaper and better than any other grocery store I've been to and yes there were a couple of times that my mom had bad food quality because sometimes the fruit wasn't good enough and I agree wit her. However, their prices are better and what I like about it is the grocery delivery and the pick up as well and those two options were helpful and useful especially during when the COVID-19 pandemic was out of control. I personally prefer doing a grocery pick up because being in the store like that can be chaotic and sometimes I forget about not buying things that aren't necessary and if my mom is with me and sees what I'm getting that isn't necessary, she'll tell me to put it back and I'll humbly do what she says.”

But the real reason I frequent Hall's so often: The deli counter is a local TREASURE. From the pre-made foods to made-to-order sandwiches, I've never ordered something I didn't love. If you haven't tried "Dave's Favorite" sandwich, you're missing out - go order it immediately and thank me later. The pasta salad is also incomparable. And my husband's personal trick: order a BEC breakfast sandwich with caramelized onions and chipotle mayo. No breakfast sandwich will ever compare.”

“Always enjoy heading to their food area. Food is always cooked well, except for today. Rice tasted bland and chicken was a bit overcooked and dry. Usually they are on point but today was an exception.”

“Wow I can't believe it's taken us this long to check out store. My wife exclaimed that was so much fun as we got into our car after shopping. She recently got an Indian cookbook with some hard to find ingredients. Royal Indian grocer had everything and more. Delicious looking produce even a hot bar which we've not tried yet. Dessert section also. Yummy central. Go there today and support a local business.”

“The Big Y in Bishop's Corner is unique in that it has products and a special area to support the local Jewish community. That said, it is smaller and relatively dated compared to other Big Y stores. The staff are friendly and helpful.”

“I know, a grocery store and a Stop & Shop, go figure. But let me tell you, this one is different. You walk in, and you're like, it's normal, but 5 minutes in, I began vibing down the ailes, people were smiling, some saying hello, but this blonde lady was "bopping" in a way that made me giggle. I was like, Whaaat am I seeing!? Haha. What I'm talking about is the music that set the mood! They were on a mostly nostalgic tip, Tevin Campbell, Rythm Nation era Janet Jackson, and more. The place was so not what I'm used to at a Stop & Shop. Now I'm at the checkout, still vibing, and the cashier was bopping and singing! Her happiness was catching, haha. I asked her if the music was for the holidays? She says no, they play this type of music all the time, "I've been working here 5 years and they play different era artists, I was surprised they continued it" she said with a full laugh! So now I'm paying for my purchases, and I'm hearing Cheryl Lynn. Oh my, she had one of the best voices! After some holiday wishes from/to customers and the cashier, I proceeded to open my bag of Pepperidge Farm Holiday Nog cookies with a big smile on my face!?”

Sale flyers are available as you approach the next leg of the race. They have a ebb and flow produce section and state of the art digital scale that also prints out the price tag!! Game changer!!! You can choose to use the scanner to shop and it will save you time at the register! They have a organized system with a exit greeter to help you navigate which check out is available. Even though I found it pricey to shop with my budget, but They offered lots of sales! They have a variety of selections and customers service is at the excellence level! What a enjoyable shopping experience!All Covid 19 protocols were followed !! Satisfied Returning Customer!!”

“I made an appointment to get 2 new tires. Milton and Jose at BJ's Tires took a look at the two tires I was keeping and noted that the newer model of my Michelin tire had a completely different tread design that would affect the quality of the ride I would have so they let me know this up front. So I didn't get those tires but instead waited on their research. Later in the day they found tires with the same tread design and they ordered them for me. I'm in the process of setting up an appointment. I want to thank Milton and Jose for taking the time to pay attention to the finer details of buying tires. Excellent customer service.”

“I waited till the last day to buy a prime rib roast for Christmas dinner, Every store I went to was sold out. I called Big Y in Plainville, ct. The per that answered the phone in the meat department told me they had only a few more roasts left and they were going fast, so I got on the highway and got there in a few minutes and I got a nice big 15lb. roast, cause if I didn't get one our Christmas Day tradition would have ended. Not only did Big Y save our Christmas Day tradition but it was the BEST prime rib the whole table ever tasted! Thanks Big Y.”

“Over all, not a bad store, just in a bad area. They have decent prices, a good selection of produce, and very good sales sometimes. Not the cleanest store, and they play offensive music through the speakers. But, more pros than cons.”
