Worst Pharmacy Ever!!! If you must go to CVS in West Hartford, choose the one in Target, the one on N Main Street is horrid. Just got back from the ER, can’t get my husband’s medicine because apparently CVS doesn’t know how to staff or get the idea of rotating lunches. Now we have to go back to the ER. Do yourself a favor and choose WALGREENS instead of this second rate pharmacy!!!

For me to think to write a review, it has to be either very bad or very good. The CVS pharmacy at Bishops Corner has a REALLY RUDE pharmacist. I was in to pick up an RX and was standing where there was a hastily made sign that said “pick up”. I was told to go to one side of the sign, then the other. I was apparently not following the confusing instructions correctly, so I got YELLED at in a very condescending voice by who i’m assuming was the head pharmacist in back. I wasn’t the only confused one, either. The only thing that saved the trip was the kind woman at check out. Think i’m switching back to Walgreens. (and btw I know how staffing, etc issues these days make work hard for EVERYone, but please be kind and courteous, it costs you nothing).

This CVS needs to be closed. If a store is unable to properly manage peoples medications, especially for pain and infection they should not be listed as a pharmacy. Absolutely disgusted.

Hope I don't need to come back here. We just moved in down the street. A week later (two days ago) I stopped by to get a COVID vaccination. The neighboring Walgreens pharmacy, which was a block away, where I'd had an appointment for a shot, had unfortunately run out of shots right before I arrived. So I noticed this pharmacy and walked over. The store was practically empty, and with four or five people were working behind the pharmacy counter. I asked if they had vaccine shots. The nice guy immediately behind the counter said they did, and asked if I had an appointment. I said no and explained why. Him: 'You need an appointment.' Me (glancing first around the empty store): 'OK, can I make one? When's your next available appointment?' (Assuming it'd be now, since no one was there waiting.) Him (turns to woman I assume is the pharmacy manager): 'Can I just make him an appointment?' Her (loud enough for me to hear): 'No, he has to make it online.' So I left, wondering why they couldn't have just helped me out. In the middle of a wave of infections. With five workers and almost no other customers in the entire store. An F for customer service.

Awful Pharmacy personnel. One lady was texting on her phone and watching her iWatch for text while trying to fill my Rx's? Really, that is not what I need when medicines are being cared for. After 3 calls (4th call was on hold for 20 minutes until I hung up) and a visit they STILL did not get the Rx transfer correct completed. I went back (staying) to the other CVS across from Stop&Shop.. They know customer service. Get your act together 344 S Main St.

I went in yesterday to pick up a few items and one of the workers behind the counter at the front of the store was venting about a coworker to another coworker extremely loudly. She was yelling "why won't she just get her work done?! I don't care if she has anxiety, it's her excuse for everything" and whatnot. Very inappropriate to air this dirty laundry around customers. I was shocked. For the ten minutes I was in the store, this woman was yelling.

One of the staff members who works there has the worst attitude I've encountered. I tried getting a prescription refilled there and she has denied refilling it for me because she mixed up the dates and said it wouldn't be available for two weeks. But there was also a sweet man who works behind that counter and he was patient and kind with me.Don't plan on going back to that pharmacy again.

When your doctors office calls in a prescription three times and CVS claims they never received it...it's time to move on to another pharmacy! I miss Suburban. This CVS pharmacy is TERRIBLE

I appreciate the pharmacist’s willingness to listen and make note of my individual Rx need. Good to have a neighborhood pharmacy that will listen and be trustworthy. Thank you!

I switched to CVS from Walgreens because they carried a drug I needed. I have NEVER encountered a more messed up pharmacy. They are most often rude and impatient. They have filled 2 prescriptions incorrectly. They have called to say something is ready but when you go there, they'll tell you they don't have it like you're bothering them. Need I say more? I could.
