This liquor store and its owner was a really unusual discovery for me. The owner, UB, is very genuine, caring, and friendly. He really cares for his customers and goes out of his way to assist them. He's also genuinely kind and generous. Rare qualities in anyone and surprising in a shop owner. If you're looking for an awesome liquor location, UB is certain to go above and beyond to meet your needs.

The worst consumer experience one could ever have. I went into this store on my 21st birthday. They didn't have much of a selection, but I compromised and grabbed a bottle. When I went to check out, the worker looked at my New Mexico state driver's license and insisted it was fake. I offered to show him additional evidence that I was from the state. He threatened to destroy my license and to call the police on me. After telling him to go ahead and call the police to verify it, he took my credit card and license, then swiped my license on the credit card machine. He said a different name than mine showed up on the machine so it was proven that I had been lying all along. He told me he could print out a receipt that proved my license was fake. I asked him to do so and he started yelling at me and calling me a liar repeatedly. Eventually I told him I would take my business elsewhere, seeing as the ordeal was going nowhere. I took my business to City Cellars, where they had a better selection and were very kind.

The people who work at Cheers are extremely nice and knowledgeable about wine and beer. For such a small space, they have a good selection of all types of alcohol. It is really great that they allow me to bring my dog in with me while I shop. An easy stop on the way home from work.

Owner is really nice! Very knowledgeable and personable. I highly recommend this place and would go out of my way to come hear even having other local options.
