I love living at the Brooksyde Apartments in West Hartford. The location to the Center and highways are hard to beat. The surrounding neighborhoods are beautiful and very walkable. My one-bedroom apartment is very comfortable with lovely wood floors, mini blinds on all windows, stainless steel kitchen appliances and lots of closets! The office staff and maintenance team are terrific and responsive. It’s a great place to live!

I’ve been living here for almost 4 years and I have no complaints. Denise is amazing if you ever need anything she gets right on it. The maintenance department is also amazing. Work orders get taken care of almost immediately. The grounds are kept beautiful and clean. Very friendly and quiet. I highly recommend Brooksyde!

Scheduled an appointment to tour and the leasing office was a no show. Leasing office was closed despite the office hours being posted 9am-5pm

The property manager Denise is really attentive and helpful. The apartment itself has some minor issues but she is working with us to get them resolved. Small price to pay for the great deal my roommate and I got on the place.

I am a very 'Happy Camper' here! With the manager, Denise, how could I not be. Not only is she very professional and personable, she takes care of all needs on every level. Any issue has been solved in a timely way. I've been living here for over three years. The reason that I am writing this is because I have experienced the opposite situation too many times. Usually people only hear when they are not doing a good job. It is so nice to let people know that Denice does an excellent job, above and beyond.

Apartments are dated. Did have a very good experience with Denise moving out at the end of my lease though, she was attentive, helpful and fast to respond.

I've been a resident for going on 2 years at Brooksyde. The apartment is nice, but in the transition from Christina to Denise, the property management here has taken a precipitous drop. Christina was professional, available and accessible and courteous. Most of all, she was available to help and IN THE OFFICE. I have tried to visit Denise on about 5 different occasions, on a Wednesday and 4 times on a Friday. I was able to see her in the office ONCE. The office hours as posted are from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Denise emailed in January that the office would be closed till further notice due to covid, but Christina held office hours during the height of the pandemic as usual with precautions in place like masking and a plexiglass barrier. It seems that Denise will be responsive most times to email and fairly promptly to phone calls, but the idea of a PM who is NOT on the property during business hours is really unacceptable.

The leasing office management behaved rudely even with the Future residents .We went to check availability and she did not even bothered to open the door or talk politely. She behaved rudely and gave us a hint to get lost. Not sure what will be the behavior for the current resident ..its a pity.Don't go by the high rating on google as they often run incentivized review in the community.

We set up an appointment to tour an available one bedroom apartment. We were told the unit number and building and to let ourselves in to see the unit... all doors were unlocked and the apartment was absolutely horrible, nothing like the photos. Trash everywhere, extremely dirty. All building doors unlocked, unsafe and disgusting! Photos extremely misleading. Stay away!

Apartment and people are great so far. We just moved in and Denise was friendly and answered any questions I had. The maintenance person, Angelo, is also very friendly and helpful. We are in transition between selling a home and looking for a new house and this is perfect for our needs. The unit itself is nice but needs updated otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

The apartments are in a great location within walking distance to West Hartford Center and Blueback Square. While they are on the older side, the maintenance team is very responsive and polite. Most importantly, the manager, Christina, was so very understanding of any and all requests that we had. She was a pleasure to work with. We wouldn’t hesitate to move back had we not relocated out of state.

It would be a lie if I said these were the nicest apartments I’ve lived in, but the location cannot be beat! The apartments are old and need a little bit of TLC. BUT, I will say that any issue I have had, Christina has been fantastic! She is always a friendly face and eager to help. Christina is a gem and Brooksyde is lucky to have her as the property manager. The maintenance team onsite is wonderful as well! They are quick to help whenever there is an issue.

Christina has be amazing to work! She has been so helpful to my sister through the leasing process, as well as working with her to choose all of the improvements options to be made to her apartment prior to move-in. She has been extremely accommodating, efficient, and just plain sweet! My sister is so happy to have chosen Brooksyde Apartments and worked with Christina!

I have been living here for about 7-8 months and I have truly enjoy every second of it. The move in process was easy. Since I have been living here I had one small situation and Christina (the property manager) was very accommodating and helpful during it. She is a rock star and I am very thankful I moved to these awesome apartments. Highly recommend!

Christina is extremely communicative and her staff her is extremely diligent. The Brooksyde staff is quick to respond and always follows up to ensure our needs are met. We have a beautifully new renovated unit and Christina still ensured that we were happy with the unit and continues to check in with us even after our move in (months after!) Christina is extremely caring and truly wants the best for her residents. Thank you Brooksyde staff for all that you do to make this our home!
