Went there cuz my branch is closed. Tryed calling for 15 min phones were off hook so I had to drive there 11miles so 22 miles both ways just for them to tell me something they could of said over phone. Smh

Berkshire Bank is the worst bank EVER! I was a former SI customer for 32 years and Berkshire Bank recently bought them out... I havmd more problems in the 2 months after the switch over than I did in 32 years with SI! EXAMPLES: They put a HOLD on everything! They put a hold on my PAYCHECK after there were 2 NOTES on my account to not do so! They put holds on CASH DEPOSITS thru the ATM!!! Last week I wanted to do a cash deposit thru an ATM on WEDNESDAY and they told me the funds would be held until MONDAY!!!! MULTIPLE ATMS down (not working) MULTIPLE TIMES! One night I had to drive 12 MILES out of my way to find any ATM that worked! FINALLY...worst customer service EVER!! Every problem that was bought to their attention...their response was "Nothing I can do about that!" Also, made several calls to customer service and every time was PROMISED a follow up call...NEVER received one! I would like to acknowledge two wesome employees in the Hebron branch who always took care of me with a smile...Erica and Tracy Rose...these 2 women always tried their best to take care of whatever problems I had! Kudos and hats off to them!! In closing, I have since closed my account and use my account at another bank... I have not had one problem...and have had NO HOLDS placed on any funds in my account AND the banks policies were clearly explained to me regarding holds... I am filing a formal complaint with the state banking department about my experiences with Berkshire Bank in the hopes that no one else will have the same negative experiences I did!
