I walked into this store on a whim today and was instantly greeted by Margie who told me where to find different pieces. She was so pleasant and knowledgeable I didn’t think I was going to actually walk out with anything, but it’s my birthday month so I wanted to treat myself. I told her exactly what I was browsing for and then I stumbled across rings in the estate jewelry section. She saw what I was looking at and picked out something even better! She actually ended up finding me two rings that looked so good stacked together and ended up fitting my finger perfectly, so I walked out with not one, but two rings. I told her I would be back for future engagement ring shopping. I am so happy with my purchase and already can’t wait to go back! Would highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of having Margie as my jeweler yesterday and she was AMAZING. She was so well informed when it came to each piece and so patient with me as I made my decision. I’d definitely recommend this place to people who want authentic jewelry with great customer service, I will be back again for sure.

Amazing jeweler! Everyone working there is kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We got our engagement ring & wedding bands at Becker’s and are so happy. Can’t recommend them enough - highly recommend!

When I first found Becker’s I came across them on Etsy and had a wonderful experience with Michele, who has since retired. Now years later we are working with Peter and having the same wonderful experience. We even travel to the store now, which is 2hr and 37min away from our home town, but for the experience and quality it’s worth it! Peter listened to all my concerns when it came to recreating my estate wedding set, I am so happy with my decision to go to Becker’s!

Expect to be blown away by the dazzle of quality gems. Tom Kelly (GM) is extremely knowledgeable seams to know every item in every case. We walked in to look ending up spending hours drooling and learning so so much about gems & jewelry. It’s like a history lesson. The team atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We now are visitors almost every Friday. I love the workmanship and history on the Estate cases. We’ve made multiple purchases and feel each and every time we were ahead of our game! My wife will tell you “Don’t go anywhere else for your Diamonds”

Went back to Becker’s for my 25th Anniversary ring and was again, blown away with the customer service I received from Margie and Tom. I highly recommend them and this fine establishment! Thank you for introducing me to the Gabrielle Lecce Anniversary ring. Top notch all around!

I had watch repair and some battery replacements. Though I was a new customer, I was treated like an old friend. They are a pleasure to deal with. Prices are very reasonable. Free parking is available in the bank lot next door because Becker's owns a part of it. This is important because parking on LaSalle Street is difficult to find and expensive. All in all, a very good experience on each of my visits.

This is hands down the best place to purchase fine jewelry in the state of CT. If you need a new watch, ask for Eli. His customer service is the best in the business and you will never leave this store unhappy for any reason. Amazing selection with an even better staff. I couldn't recommend a single place to shop at over Beckers. I moved to Colorado and still continue to support them.10/10 for Beckers

Rude, & dismissive if you bring in jewelry to be repaired that was not purchased there. I was lied to about the time line of when the bracelet I needed links taken out of would be ready. Told me same day or next and to come in right away, but then said it wouldn't be for a week. Furthermore, when I walked in and showed the owner the 14k gold bracelet he made a spectacle out of taking my gold bracelet from me without my permission, went to get a magnet and began testing it with this magnet while walkiing throughout the store and consulting other salespeople. So offensive! If you have to test, be discreet and communicate with your customer! He was acting like my bracelet was fake and not worthy of being worked on by their jeweler and consulted 2 other people about it. I told them it was real and that I had certification for it as well. He finally said it was "ok, to be worked on". Ridiculous. Stay away! They are condescending, rude and totally unprofessional unless they feel you will be purchasing something. I have made several purchases there in the past and buy plenty of jewlery. Needless to say, I will not be going back to Becker's again! Such as shame as I try to patronize family businesses. Stay away.
