I was hoping for a better experience only for our first time to be absolutely ridiculous. The place is chaos with 2 of the groomers lil dogs barking to greet you as you walk in. The groomer, Kelly, does not try to make your dog feel welcomed nor does she let them out to potty. She has no idea how to manage a puppy. In fact she called us and asked us to return so we could hold our puppy because our lil pooch would not stay still. Even after my spouse left work to help her groom our puppy she did a terrible job. It didn't even look like our dog was groomed. She assured me when I called she was familiar with my breed dog and was capable of managing a 6mos old pup. I do not recommend her services. It was a terrible experience.

Kelly is awesome!!!! She does a great job and really seems to enjoy what she's doing and has always been able to get our dog in with no issues

Great experience bringing my old man Zeke (11 year old) to Kelly. He looks great and is sooo happy after his grooming. She is awesome! Definitely reccomend??

Kelly is amazing! She has been grooming my pup Levi for many years! She is friendly, and loving to all who pass through the door. I know Levi is in food hands when I bring him in to be groomed.

I love Kelly! As a new dog owner I was terrified to take my new baby to anyone but Kelly truly does treat all her 2 legged and 4 legged clients just like family and treats our Ramsey like her own! Her prices are great, her facility is immaculate! I wouldn’t take Ramsey anywhere else, she knows exactly how to wash and cut him for his specific breed (Cavalier King Charles)! I know Ramsey is safe in Kelly’s hands! Thanks Kelly!!!

I have brought my Standard Poodle to Kellie at Sophisticated Pooch since Mollie was a young puppy. She is 12 years old. Kellie is the kindest and most compassionate groomer you will ever find. I’m reading Michaels review and this simply is not the case. If Kellie asked you to help, that was for your dogs mental health. She was being kind and compassionate to your dog. I’ve never been to a groomer that would ever allow such a kind thing. Also Michael mentioned that his dog had mats. Most groomers would charge extra to get mats out. This normally means you have waited too long to get your dog groomed. It’s actually an unkind thing to do to your dog as it hurts. Most responsible dog owners come in for grooming before the knots and mats start. In conclusion, I would just like to say that my dog considers Kellie to be one of “her people”. She gets so happy and excited to go get groomed. This is because of the way she is treated by Kellie the owner of Sophisticated Pooch.

I have been taking Louie here since he was a puppy. Kelly always goes above and beyond to make him look shiny and clean. Louie will be 11 this year and he is so happy when it’s time for his monthly visit to see Kelly. She spoils him and he love it’s!!! The best?

I brought my dog in to get groomed, I was unaware that I would help in the process. I spent half an hour holding my dog as his ears were being plucked and some of his knots were being cut. I got a text 3 hours later to come back to hold my dog. I spent another hour there holding my dog as he got groomed. I have never had to assist a groomer before (he has been to 3 other groomers). While I was there I was asked if he looked good, and from first look he did. I just had her even put his head to be even. When I got home I realized that he still had knots on his belly and in his groin. I smelled his ears, and they were not cleaned out like other groomers have done.
