Came to buy some groceries. Prices were fair. Walmart was fairly clean. It was not packed and I was thankful for that. I was looking for healthy wraps and it took me a while to find it as it had been moved. The Walmart attendant couldn't find it either. So I wasted time going around the store for a while. Bathroom could definitely use a cleaning and fixing of paper holders. Toilet paper rolls were on the floor. It did not smell bad at all. But had tons of pieces of papers left all over by customers. There was plenty of parking and shopping carts available. Otherwise, this visit was fine.

Stopped in to pick up a few things, and the store is completely out of bags. I know this is Connecticut, but still, the store should have bags for people to use to take the groceries! Four employees could not find any bags for me. So I had to stop all my groceries into a couple pieces of clothing that I picked up and take it to my car. Just completely on satisfactory for the customer!

Well they lived up to their name. One stop shopping. Probably went in to look at picture frames, but walked the store and picked up xmas items, food, and a garbage can. Did we really need that...... I guess so. Lucky for us we used it as a makeshift box to pack our items in. Love this superstore, always let's us get a wide range of shopping done without going to multiple stores.

Needed to reschedule a tire installation. Couldn't do it online, system didn't allow. Tried calling the actual store where the work was to be done; neither auto department nor store manager ever picked up the phone. With no recourse, I drove on the donut down I-95 to the store to get the job done or at least schedule it to be done. Was offered a 3-4 hour wait to have it done as they weren't able to access the online scheduling system. End result took tire with me and limped back on the donut to my local mechanic. Walmart just lost me as a customer. Why have online scheduling system if it doesn't do it's job? Why have phones if you're not going to answer them?

I bought a money order with cash on October 16th from the Walmart Service Center to make a mobile deposit. My last such purchase was on August 22nd. During that time Walmart made their money orders not able to be deposited by a mobile app. I returned to the service desk within an hour after my purchase upon discovering I could not make a mobile deposit. Walmart would not take back their money order or would even cash it! It took me an hour and several layers of management to rectify my problem. They would not refund the dollar charge for the money order. Not even an apology for my inconvenience. My shopping days at Walmart are over to the benefit of Amazon.

They don't have wine? Is that a CT thing?? The actual store was exactly what you'd expect minus the whole wine debacle.

This store has really gone downhill. Stocking is horrible. The mini chips for baking are allways out of stock because they put the other size there. There is no regular Gatorade because they fill everything with the zero calorie one. The clerk refused to scan my bottle return at the self checkout. The customer service is unacceptable both for service and wait times. I really hate shopping here.

This place has a BIG PROBLEM... There's no phone service!!! Evidently I'm NOT the only one who's really tired of hitting redial for 30 minutes to have absolutely no one from any department answer the phone... I'm sure they know about it since it's been at least 2 days... the Walmart in Lisbon answered me to tell me yes you are not the only one who can't get a phone call through... I'm really unhappy with the fact they haven't fixed the problem 2 days later... Hey Walmart in Waterford I'm just wondering if I can drive 40 minutes back to your store to get the coffee and creamer I left there by accident??? P.S I just spent over 400$ there....

This review is specifically for the Automotive Center manager and also the technician who changed my oil. He, the technician, left the oil cap off after filling the vehicle with the new oil. The manager, when I called to speak with her about the issue, lied and said they have it on video the technician had put the cap on. The reason I know she was being dishonest was due to the fact the engine noise from under the hood was resonating considerably louder than it ever had. It wasn't until the following morning I decided to check under the hood and found the oil cap towards the front of the engine compartment. After that the engine noise went back to normal. I reported this to the store manager, and reflected on the fact the Automotive Center manager didn't work well with people. I suggested she be assigned to stocking shelves.

I don't usually review department stores, but my god. This Walmart is awful. I don't understand how a billion dollar company never has any grocery bags in stock. Do they realize that so many customers are probably stealing from them since you have to just pile your loose items in to the cart with no bags? The candy shelf next to the self checkout register was absolutely disgusting looking, with what appeared to be dirt, maybe even mold all over it? Gross. Strap this Walmart to a rocket ship and send it directly in to the sun.

I went to the Waterford Walmart to do my byweekly shopping. After I was done I went to the register to check out and not a single grocery bag in sight. Now I have been to this store before... they wont bag my bags, which I only bought because of Uncle Ned Lammont, and now they haven't any bags of thier own! So here I am with a carriage full of groceries and no way to get them home. I ask the cashier if I should put everything back on the shelve? She tells me to wait and she'll get her manager. Manager comes and we go round the story again of how nobody here will accept my Walmart bags and you have none of your own with a carriage full of groceries at 8:30 In the morning. We eventually work out a deal where she will now accept my bags, so I run out to car to get the afore-mentioned bags and happy days my groceries have a way to get home. NOW you may think this is a happy ending... but wait. I spoke to a Walmart representative at another store where they have plenty of bags and a story to tell. Walmart employees are given the license not accept your reusable Walmart bags if they chose not to,which is in my experience, ALWAYS the case. This reason for this I am told is because they have no way of knowing where my bags have been, which is a good thing because I always dip my bags in Cyanide just before I go shopping. Does anybody remember the doorknob claim when HIV first reared its head? Walmart DOES NOT need to provide bags if the store chooses not to, which is obviously the case in Waterford! So tell me again why we are shopping in dirty stores with empty shelves and rude employees with zero customer service?

This Walmart might have a chance if only the staff consistently spoke English. I am all for bilingual, especially if a customer is not adept in English, however, everywhere you turn in this store, employees are lounging "while stocking shelves", blocking aisles without an offer to step aside if you are trying to go down an aisle and are forever yelling to one another - mostly in any language but English. During Covid, when I would only dash into a store if I had to, I witnessed employees yelling goodbyes at the end of a shift, then run to each other and hug and air kiss. Unbelievable. I also feel that I must just about tackle an employee to get help. on one visit, when I asked to purchase a bag, I was told "yeah, we're not doing that anymore". I asked not supplying bags? The answer "yeah, people waste to much, management not spending money on them". I said what if you forget a bag (which I had). "Well, wheel the carriage out and unload it into your car from there" no personality, no manners, no customer service and no clue. I now travel to the Walmart in Old Saybrook, so my Walmart trips are pleasant.
