We went to Lowes on 3/25.No one to check you out.There used to be at least one person a few months ago.Three people plus us had problems with their Self check .Brought up items we Did Not buy. We were fans of Lowes for years.Now,they have really gone downhill. Last year we tried to buy a washing machine there and had to go elsewhere.Very poor management!

My wife and I visited the Waterford store last night for an oven and as usual in any lowes it was hard to find assistance without wandering the store. However we met Lura an associate who went above and beyond with the help of an upbeat supervisor. They got the job done and we were happy. Lowes can use more of them. When Lura couldn't find the staff for that department she called and asked her supervisor to show how to process sale. She was cool and patient. Kind. We appreciate it.

Walked through the front door to the fresh smell of popcorn and a guy with a sick mustache scooping it into a to-go bag for our convenience. We munched and strolled through the aisles looking for a dryer. Finally we found a dryer that was discounted and we were able to take home right then and there. Thank you so much for saving us from our friends at the laundry mat. They are good people but I am thankful to sanitize our clothes at home once again.

Ordered a ladder online for pickup at this location for $150 & was upgraded to a little giant (retail $225) since they didnt have the exact ladder. Pick up was quick and paid all within 10 minutes. Most efficient trip to any lowes location I have ever had.

This was the only Lowe's that I could find within 50 miles of me that had all of the good Disney Christmas decorations out! They were super nice as well with getting my pick up order and they took care in making sure I was able to get everything to the car. Excellent customer service!

This store is the worst. John, the garden department manager is the rudest person I've ever encountered. He repeatedly says nasty and inappropriate things to customers and has even done so in front of my child, most recently on 9/18 at around 12:30pm. Last weekend, a female employee in the garden department used rake handles to simulate an inappropriate sexual joke to her coworkers, again, in front of children. One should be able to shop for garden supplies without their children witnessing inappropriate and rude comments and actions from employees. I asked to speak with the manager today and was told that he's on vacation.

The staff here is beyond rude, a curly haired blonde woman asked if what i was purchasing was necessary... which it is... and also none of the staff members business. When confronting her she told me if i had a probable i could tell the manager... the manager told me they are short staffed.... clearly. but fyi no staff is better than rude staff.

I just called to schedule a toilet installation. The store representative kept me holding while he spoke to someone at the store and also while he tried to figure out whether or not he could place the installation order over the phone. It got so ridiculous that I had doubts. When I said to him that I hoped that he knows what to do, he said that since I didn't think he knew what he was doing, he HUNG-UP ON ME!!!!!! Disgusting...he should get fired. Tried calling to speak to manager, but no answer! Typical...Stay away from Lowe's!

Purchased a washer/dryer set online. Tried to set up delivery and was told I would have to pay extra to take away the old machines. No problem. They told me it would be delivered on February 3, 2021. Then I noticed they split the order. One was to delivered, the other to be picked up in store. Called back to rectify this and was told if I wanted them both delivered, they would have to change the date to February 9, 2021. Now it's the 9th and no machines. Called to find out what's going on and was told the order had been canceled for non-payment. Not sure why. I saw the money get held in my account and then...nothing. No phone call to me to fix it. They just canceled the order. If you are in a bind and need something delivered from this store, think twice. There is a Home Depot very close by.

tried to get a floor installed at waterford ct. store. they wasted my time by coming out to measure then i never heard form them again. worse customer service ever. so , i called them, i was hung up on, sent to wrong departments, told i would receive a call back from both staff and the floor department manager, NOTHING! GUESS THEY DONT NEED THE BUSINEES are they shutting down??

Bad experience in the flooring department. Asked employee where laminate flooring was he acted like I was bothering him then instead of bringing me to the flooring he pointed !!! Obviously hates his job and should not be in customer service I'd rather shop in line .

Lost my business. Here in CT to help out mother in law with new AC purchases and installation. I was hustled to three different departments, with a couple of trips to the switchboard in between. I couldn't even get out "Wait a minute! They just sent me to you" before I hurried along. Indeed, how do you stay in business? I understand it's stressful during a pandemic, but at least try. Wasted enough time, so leaving out many of the frustrating details. Trust me, this is tame.

DELIVERY IS SO EFFED UP AT WATERFORD, CT LOWES. I'm stroking out AGAIN. How can the Waterford, CT store stay in business? In the past 4 years, I've had many projects & every single delivery, EVERY SINGLE TIME has been a major SH*T SHOW!!! WTF? However, I'm giving them 2 stars cuz': (1) I like the ladies who work in the store; (2) they are not the Trumpeteer-loving-Home-Depot a-holes; and (3) store is very clean & I don't mind buying plants & stuff I can carry out myself. DELIVERY SUX BIG TIME!!!

Does this store even have a manager or supervisor?? How do you stay in business? I own/manage many homes and apartments, and have bought all of my appliances there for years. I also shopped there for my own home as the merchandise always seemed to be a better quality. Recently this has all changed. Customer service is non-existent. I've had 2 deliveries screwed up by XPO. When you call the Lowe's store to complain, you find that none of the employees actually answer the phone. On the fourth attempt to get through, got a surly woman who offered to refund my pick-up fee as XPO said it wasn't on their paperwork. However, she screwed that up and the refund was never processed. (This is the second time Lowe's in Waterford has screwed up a refund). When I tried calling back, again no answer. Called National number at 800-445-6937, explained situation, and the woman I spoke with said that the refund had to be authourized through the Waterford store as they were the location fulfilling my on line order. She tried to get through, but no one answered the phone. Finally, I got to speak with her supervisor, who credited the fee. $21.30 including the tax. A total of 7 phone calls, and then 29 minutes on hold to correct a mistake made by Lowe's. I was then asked to hold for a survey. After doing so, an automated voice came on to say that the survey is no longer available. Only buy at Lowe's what you can take with you. Never On Line, or via phone, as you will get nothing but frustration.
