“My son hit a pothole and got a flat tire. I put air in the tire and drove down to Pete's in Waterbury because it was the closest tire shop, and I wouldn't have made it much further. Cody wrote up the order and took care of the tire right away. Unfortunately, the tire had a big hole in the sidewall. They had my specific tire in stock at their central warehouse, and he said he would be available the next morning. Cody had Chris put on my spare tire, which got us back on the road. He told me to come back the next morning, and they would install the new tire. The following day, I arrived at 8:45, and I was out the door by 9:15! Cody was very professional and courteous, and Chris and Jose did a great job installing my spare and my new tire. It was a great experience and took much less time than expected. Great job at a fair price! Thanks!”

“Pulled in on a Friday morning with a nail in our expedition truck’s tire lug, super friendly guy took a look told me no big deal, removed it and tested to be sure no leak and wouldn’t let me pay him.

When I made an appointment, Ben suggested a different tire that I wasn’t aware of that was very similar. It had as good or better ratings; was cheaper as well as having a rebate that they applied to my price and an additional mail-in rebate”

“I've been coming to this guy on and off for bout 5 or 6 years. Never has ripped me off. I had a nail in my tire, pulled up yesterday. I told him I needed a new tire bc any place would have told me that. He took one look and said I didn't need a new tire just a repair. $30.00 and 10 minutes later I was on my way home. He could have cheated me yesterday and didn't. Good guy, and definitely not rude nor his employees.”
“Bought 2 really nice name brand tires for an awesome cash price, the 2 guys that helped me were really fast and had my wheels off, tire switched and back on my car, on the ground in 10 minutes. Great service, will go there again. The only downside is they don't have a balancer, so if that bothers you, than you can do what I did, I stopped at another tire place on my way home and had them balanced for 20-25$ not that big a deal to me. Might be able to get balanced cheaper if you don't care about the wheels as much as I do and go with the pound on weights instead of stick on weights to save a few bucks, usually the stick on weights are a few extra bucks.”

“The store is usually clean & organized.. however let's talk about the deli section, the wait time is sometimes 20+ minutes.. the ladies who work there are very slow & seem unhappy, but if the guys are working the deli area you can get in and out in a few minutes! Please work on this ppl have to go home & cook dinner, have kids to tend too, have places to be other than standing around over 20 minutes to get what we need when you have 3 ppl standing around.”
“Two other shops were going to have me wait 45min or longer when all I needed was a plug put in my tire as I discovered i had ran over a screw... they got me right in no wait the way a tire plug should be and were very friendly... can't thank them enough I was still able to get to new haven and back in time for work without worrying about the tire blowing out or having to postpone the trip to my MILs to sort thru photos of her recently departed beloved father for a collage... it was such a small job but meant the world to our family”

“I’ll be honest, I can see how people may depict their first impressions here as a nightmare but they are harmless. Honestly they helped me out of a jam and although it took over a hour to change a tire, meow meow their receptionist kept me company. Not sure much about what the situation was there but she was a sweetheart. The lead mechanic, Cracker Jack Joe, kept loosing the tire he was supposed to put on my rim (it was right next to him) but it was comical. At 3am there’s nothing better to lighten a situation than watching these two in action do gymnastics jumping over the piles of tires like 2 kids in the McDonald’s ball pen. Cracker Jack tried charging an extra $10 to take my blown out tire and another $10 to switch my front tire to the back (fwd drive train) then tried charging $10 more then the Original agreed price, but he honored it after a lil back and forth. Honestly greatful for this dynamic duo.”
“I’ve had my tires and brakes replaced at this location, both within a month. I was really satisfied with both services, and my car rides better than ever now. The techs here are honest and reliable. They were truthful about my car only needing rear brakes when I was ready to replace all 4. I will be taking my car here for any service it needs from now on. Dennis is also super nice and helpful.”
“Got 2 front tires installed, so far so good no complaints. Manager was very friendly and took care of me. I would have gave them 5 stars but it took a little over an hour to do the 2 tires which compared to other shops is usually about 10 minutes per tire. Sure it was a bit of a wait to get the tires on but for the price I paid for the tires and instillation I can’t be mad.”
