Very unprofessional. The refrigerator we purchased stopped working shortly after it was delivered. He destroyed the door trim and scratched our floors. He did replace it with another one which also stopped working shortly after. He is very rude and condescending. Please save your money and shop elsewhere.

Ricos shop looks rough around the edges but he is a honorable business owner! He warranties his applainces for a year and if theres an issue he makes it right, his prices are fair and trust me in this used or second hand appliance game RICO is the best. HIGHLy recommended

TERRIBLE. The appliances seem to be in good shape but there’s always a problem. 1 year Warranty sounds good but it’s also terrible. Customer service is terrible. Communication is terrible. They take their sweet time to come and fix any issues that arise. Their priority goes to new customers and delivering appliances versus taking care of their existing customers and answering service calls. I’ve demonstrated patience and understanding with them for the past year and it’s gotten me nowhere. I’ve been Waiting on a filter for my refrigerator for almost 2 wks. Why? Gave them a week notice for an issue that they decided had to be the filter. I was unavailable for a few days so I scheduledFor them to come a wk from the time of my call and they STILL didn’t show up. I had to call them because they don’t communicate. They just don’t keep their word.Save yourselves the trouble and the headaches and the time and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! You may have to spend a little bit more money but it’ll be worth it rather than having to deal with these guys.

Don’t buy from them. At first the appliances appear great. Had a small issue with the washer I purchased. On 3 separate occasions I called this place to schedule a technician to come out (because they cover it). And every single time they say someone is coming and never does. They advertise a 1 year warranty but never honor it.

I bought a dryer from them not even a year ago and it is sitting broken in my washroom . Has not heat to it what so ever!! No one will call me back or anything If this isn’t addressed by today im taken this higher!!! Im surprised my washer still works! Im so glad I save all my text messages because i still have the messages of them saying how great and new the dryer is !!! Please!!!!

My refrigerator was not cooling both in the fridge and freezer so I called at Rico's on 8/11/21 and they told me they’ll send a technician that comes in after 4 and said he will take 60 for inspection to find the problem and if you go ahead with repair he won’t charge you 60 but only labor and parts. So the guy came around 4:30 pm he checked and said the defrost thermostat went bad and would take $225 to fix it. Since the refrigerator was down from last 2 days I took the risk so that fridge would work and the fiasco would be over. He put another defrost thermostat that he had and within 15 minutes finished the work. He told me to wait 2 hrs and the temperature would go down but it didn’t so I called him again and he said he’ll be there around 4:30 tomorrow. Next day when he came he already had another defrost thermostat and put it in again in 15 minutes even though I insisted the technician to check for other fault he stood by his thermostat theory and said wait couple of hours again. So after an hour when the fridge didn’t go down below 65 I called him again on same day 8/12/21. He again said he’ll come back again tomorrow around 7 to fix it. Today on 8/13/21 I called him so many times he didn’t bother to answer or text. And mind it that it was the technician that told me that he is an honest guy when I confronted him that the thermostat is only 10-15 dollars why you taking almost 200 as labor. This is what Rico and his people call honesty, they are a total rip-off. I would even never ever recommend them a friend and not even to an enemy. Their appliances work only for a year till their warranty expires and then they rip people off in this way.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the amazing customer service I received. My fridge went over nite, my food had already begun defrosting. The cost of a new fridge at $1500 for a basic fridge without even an ice maker was just too much for me. I’m a single mom, 1 income... I got to Rico’s that afternoon around 3pm and by 6pm I had a (new to me) fridge in my home. Unfortunately, that freezer stopped working Within a week.... here is where the true customer service comes in!! I called them Monday to let them know I was having issues and by Tuesday afternoon I had another fridge in its place.. not only did they replace it but they even emptied the existing one out because I was working remotely at the time they came.. they could not have been any nicer or accommodating!!! They never questioned anything, I didn’t even have to go back to the store. They sent me pics of the options they had etc. honestly the best customer service I have seen in a long time! And... getting the fridges in and out of my house was no picnic either due to the size of my doorway... they never complained! Thank you so much!You guys were awesome!
