Officially done with this place, which is a shame, cause my family’s used Zeller for generations. Last year, I ordered a set of 35” Cooper tires for my pickup and was promised a Saturday morning install. When I arrived, after driving 3 hours from NJ, I was told the tires wouldn’t be in until Monday, and they instead had to throw on a different brand entirely.
Fast forward to today, and I attempted to get my tires rotated while in town. After waiting for over 2 hours, I was told “we’re not able to rotate your tires, some of your lug nuts are getting rounded”. This is interesting, because the last shop to touch the lug nuts was Zeller, when mounting the wheels with my new tires last year. So, if they are indeed stripped (which they’re not, a socket bites just fine), it was at the hands of their own mechanics anyways.

I compared price to the nearby tire shop that claims that nobody beats their price, nobody. The out-the-door price was about the same.
When I made an appointment, Ben suggested a different tire that I wasn’t aware of that was very similar. It had as good or better ratings; was cheaper as well as having a rebate that they applied to my price and an additional mail-in rebate

I am very disappointed....
Apparently I have not been paying attention to the mounting and balancing fees.
Zeller Torrington charges a penalty if you don't buy the tire from them.
I bought 4 tires online for $263 and had Zeller mount & balance them, they charged $178. Seems like about double what I was expecting.
Apparently that's what they have been charging me all along.
I will be taking the short drive to Murphy's Tire service in New Milford from now on.
In closing, I have no complaints about their workmanship, I'm just shocked and the penalty charges...

Oakville location: They replaced the Lower Control Arms on my 2019 Crosstrek (182,000 miles) The work was done right, neat and at an excellent price. They will get all out of warranty work on my cars.

I can not recommend Zeller Tire Co. in Oakville enough.I went in for some new tires, they were more than happy to help me.The gave me a few quotes, but didnt make me feel pressured to purchase.I ended up getting my tires the same day, they gave me an a estimate for time, but I was out way before. While I waited for my service, I observed the manager,Randy provide many other customers with awesome customer service. I also had to purchase windshield wipers which he came out and swapped my old ones out for me himself. The following week I realized I was overdue for an oil change and called.I spoke with Randy again, and despite being busy he was able to get me in the same day,I dropped my car off and I was done before promised.Hands down the best customer service in town.I will definitely be going back for future sevices. Thank you Zeller Tire Co. In Oakville!

My friend picked me up in his truck this morning, he told me he just got new tires and rims put on at Zeller. After 5 minutes we pulled over because the car was making a weird noise when his foot was off the gas. Both back tires were LOOSE and close to coming off. One tire was entirely loose, two others were coming loose. We were getting on the highway for a 2 hour ride and genuinely could have been killed thanks to a lazy installation.

Great place for tire replacements
Mechanical work NO
Tried to charge me 800 for a tune up when all it needed was a simple coil. Replacement. And they made it seem like a tune up might not even fix the issue. When a new coil fixed the issue for 100$
My car had no issues besides power steering. They fixed that, 30 minutes later I’m having misfiring and check engine light blinking

Zeller tire used to be my go to for all my tire and alignment needs. Spencer was the head manager of the shop and he was absolutely awesome. He since been replaced by some new guy who’s cocky and less than competent. With Spencer you always felt like your needs as a customer or his primary concern and he would go out of his way to make sure he understood your exact requirements. And his prices were fair and excellent. The new manager seems to forget within seconds everything you’ve asked for him to do. My most recent experience with him was that he gave me a price of $280 for mounting and balancing four tires, which I purchased from another source, and a front end alignment. I asked him also to save me the best one of my 4 old tires so that I could mount it as a spare. I left my car with him on the assurance that he would call me when it was finished so that I could pick it up. I got there at 8 AM so I was one of the first people in line. When I didn’t hear from him by three in the afternoon, I called and he said that the car had been done for hours. When I asked him why no one called me he said, “ I’m sure we called you.” That was lie number one. When I arrived to pay my bill, it was $170. I asked him if that included the front end alignment, and he said, “Oh, you wanted an alignment, too.” I then had to wait another hour and a half for him to get my car aligned and which he proceeded to charge me $150 for Which he justified by saying that that was the price for a four-wheel alignment. My car doesn’t have the ability for the rear wheels to be aligned. In the end I ended up spending $320 ($40 more than he quoted me). Ownership should be aware that this guy is a hack and that they’re going to lose a lot of business without Spencer there. It’s time for me to find a new tire shop that treats me with honesty, fairness, and competence. Just as a sidenote, I will say that the guy who does the alignments at Zellers is the best alignment man I’ve ever dealt with.
