Great company , great service, great representatives ! I spoke with a representative named Jonathan who was a patient , quintessential gentleman throughout every one of my elderly questions and consequent repeated questions ! It is a pleasure to talk to service representatives who are so helpful, kind and carefully walk you through every step of purchasing a pre pay oil plan . What’s great is we worked through all the business details right on the phone and I was able to pay the balance securely over the phone rather than sending a check through the mail after Docu signing the contract through email . This company is great about crediting your next years’ pre pay plan with all the money you didn’t spend from what you bought last year ! Those credits add up significantly over the mild north east winters like we had last year !

Best customer service ever! They might not be the cheapest, but they certainly are the most reliable. I've been a customer for 4 yrs and really have tried to get something better out there. They are the best.

Called for excessive heat issue with my furnace. Appeared to be a bad zone valve. Called at approximately 2:30pm on Monday and waited approximately 10-15min for a customer service member. Once connected the rep was very professional and a pleasure to work with!I would not have expected to wait so long to get through to service given how large HOP energy is. With multiple customer service centers in several states, I would think they would back up each other during heavy call volumes.

We were suppose to have service for our boiler and no one showed up but we got an email saying our service was completed. Trying to reach them is impossible and they don’t return calls if you leave a message. After my contract expires I will be going elsewhere. Absolutely no customer service, steer clear.

Anthony, the tech that came out was experienced & quick. He explained everything to me in simple terms for me to understand. Will work with them again & refer them to others.P.S.Their service contract they recommended to me when I first signed up with them saved me hundreds of dollars on my first service call.

This company will stop coming even though you’re setup for automatic delivery, when you run out of oil (because they just stopped coming) and ask them to come make an emergency fill up they told us they couldn’t come out for two days. Then when you remind them that you have no oil and it’s supposed to be in the low teens the next few days they then say “well I guess we can come out tomorrow”. Then they charge you an astronomical fee and won’t work with you on a payment plan.Worst oil company. Horrible customer service. Just stay away.

I have a contract, which is great. I call after each fill up of oil to check amounts I have left. Today, I spoke with Luna, who was polite and very knowledgeable. She gave me information about my contract and when it will start and when to schedule my yearly furnace check. I am all set with information I need for next winter. Luna answered all my questions and explained other information which I found useful. Great customer service!!!!! Thanks!!!!!
