“I have been using FD for years since 2016. This bank was the only bank that believed in giving me a loan back in the day when no other bank would help me.fast forward to today-and I give this bank a lot of credit in helping me shape my family and I build generational wealth-and they’re still helping me every year with something new I do.This is a small community bank that’s a staple in Waterbury for like 100 years. It’s not chase bank so if your looking to have deposits in the same day-only thing I would say no to-however anything for personal banking savings auto loans-helocs-these guys are the top of the line.The employees are very helpful especially in the loan department, all of them are very helpful. Most people will use a business for years and one time something will go wrong, they will immediately leave a review. How about leaving a review for the 50 times things went right.Everyone wants to feel entitled and special about leaving reviews-negative reviews should only truly be warranted when all avenues dealing with the business have been attempted. Not just when 1 bad experience happens and you go cry about it on Google like a 4 year old like a lot of reviews I see. Get a grip on life-and get out of moms basement and see the world.The negative reviews they even have are mostly from the meriden road branch-and it’s not because of the employees, that bank especially deal with a bunch of people who can’t figure out why companies took money out of their account and they get mad at the tellers-seen it many times, it’s 2024-get with the times and control your money better people-it’s not the banks job to worry about why you can’t budget your money.Either way-keep up the great work FD community and continue in helping people in Waterbury build generation wealth!”

“I used this Webster Bank’s coin counter the other day. After using the machine, I went in line to cash in my receipt. The line was quite long, and 2 of the 3 tellers were involved in time consuming tasks, such as setting up a new debit card for a customer. I asked the branch manager if I could come back to cash my receipt, as I was in a rush. She informed me that the receipts have to be cashed in at the same time that they are printed. Knowing that I was in a rush, she went to the back of the bank to the drive up tellers and had one of them come up front to cash me out. I never had a chance to thank her because she was on the phone when I left. I just really appreciate her attention to customer service and doing what she can to help someone.”

54 Bank St, Waterbury“You don't appreciate what you have until to lose it. I switched from Webster to People's United because I got a better mortgage rate at People's. I've found that it is very difficult to get customer service to fix anything at People's. 1. Webster allows you to transfer between any account online, whereas you cannot do that with People's. 2. Webster answers their phone within minutes, whereas People's will return your call in 40-60 minutes, so you have to sit by the phone. 3. If you have a problem with Webster, they will fix it the same day instead of making you wait literally weeks. 4. They will give you one overdraft forgiveness a year. 5. They will let use overdraft protection without a fee (just interest) from a line of credit. I have had no or very little problems with them, and the few times I did, they were patient and fixed the issues right away.”

“I have been a member of this bank for about 27 years when my mom began my savings account as a baby.. I have never left and continue to use this as my main bank. The staff over the years have become friends to my family and are very personable with each and every visit or phone call. I moved a bit farther away from Waterbury now but will not leave this credit union. Anything I need I know they will have done in 2 minutes from my phone call. I appreciate the personal touch this credit union has.”
