Great Smart Staff who really work hard to make us happy and makes events holidays more special. Great choices and the pharmacy is very helpful. Great prices but always plan and buy what you eat due to Big portions.

Rob T, the Pharmacy Manager is awesome. Super helpful, attentive and loves his job. Gave me some pills to hold me over and was just super friendly. Definitely worth the switch from your standard pharmacy. I also have great insurance but I use Good RX there and everything is super cheap.

Stopped at the cafe. They continually have the greatest meal deal around. Only $1.50 for a soda and hot dog and you can add your own toppings (ketchup, mustard, relish, onions). The service was quick and friendly.

I mean if you don't like Costco I don't know what's wrong with you. It's always a pleasant experience shopping at Costco for me. The employees are very nice and helpful always.I love being specific items in bulk as it just makes more sense to me especially in regards to cleaning products. I'd say don't go on a Sunday morning though it's apocalyptic in there and very busy.

I mean. Who really needs to read a review for a Costco. Are you just sitting around and saying to yourself I'm not going to this Costco because it has 3.5 stars? Costco can have 1 star review and people will still go in droves. Why? I'll tell you why. $4.99Rotisseri Chicken. They spent $600million to raise their own chicken to keep prices low. They know we go for the chicken. You spend $400 on your way to buying that $4.99 chicken. Freaking Genius. Their premade foods. Which BTW probably has the prior day leftover rotisseri chicken. The food is really good and saves our family a ton of time. Freaking Genius. 8 Pack of Spam. Where else can you find a 8 pack of spam? Costco that's where. BJs in comparison only has 6. Take that BJs. Freaking Genius. I can keep on going but I'm not going to take any more of your time. Goto Costco's and get your 8 pack of Spam. You will thank me later.

Products are good with some reasonable prices for huge variety of produce, cakes, and more. Food court (which we enjoyed eating there) is awesome. Worth coming back! P.S. My family enjoys shopping at a Costco-owned store.

My family and I have been to many Costco stores in many states. This one was closer to where we were staying than another costco in the are, that had higher reviews. This location was good though. It felt a little smaller than other Costco warehouses, but I'm not sure if it was my imagination. We ate at their food court and we found some local goodies that we don't usually have at our Costco in Texas. We specially liked some fall themed cookies from Canada. The parking lot is smaller than at other locations. The spaces seemed shorter, and a bit narrower too. I found a box of Halloween goldfish but it was open, I asked an employee and he was very helpful. That was the last box they had and it was open so I didn't get it. Oh well. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could.

A store does not get much better than this. Everything you need at possibly the best price you will ever see. Layout is simple. Its the go to shop. It almost has that Ikea level shopping enjoyment but not quite. The food court is better than some restaurants and its soo cheap that you'll be amazed that you spent more on the gas to get there. Get the hot turkey sandwich with pesto whenever they decide to add it again. That thing should be in a deli.

Spent the day doing a food comparison of Waterbury Costco value add vs. Southington BJ's. Hope my findings help u choose the mbrshp best for your needsCostco: larger selection and healthy and organic foods. Larger selection of products. Kirkland worked hard on brand confidence and it shows. Better Basil Pesto, better gourmet block cheese choices. Way better beef selections. More chicken choices. Avg cost $2 less than BJ's. More dish soap selections. Customer attitude in store - nothing less than positive/happy/conversationally chatty. Absolutely best selling point: hundreds in checkout line, floor managers kindly "managing" the customer flow thru to the door out. Time in line: maybe 7 minutes to register. Head Cashiers accessible for any need as not to hold u up when paying. Membership fee: higher (perks w mbrshp- waaay more included)BJ's: positive points for having name brands like Perdue or Oscar Meyer. Price points slightly higher because you are paying for brand familiarity. Liquor Shop waaaay smaller and all prices HIGHER BY $3-7 than Costo Liquor. Smaller selections of meat. Bakery similar but also seemed smaller. Not as many toiletry choices. Nutritional supplement isle had less to choose. Absolutely not as many healthy choices. Spent equal time reading labels at both. Costco def offers healthier foods. Both offer pre packaged unhealthy but practical meal options if u choose that. Customers attitude in store: grumpy/cold/not many smiles/not one casual convo happened. Many obese customers with multiple carts (this just tells me that their name brand choices and food options met a presumably Yummy Standard) [along the lines of thinking I should never trust a skinny chef]. Absolutely the most negative aspect: checking out now a days, goodness what a S-show at their competitor BJ's!! Line wrapped throughout the store zig zagging all the way to the back. I was in line for 28 minutes at BJ's!! I almost walked out 3 diff times but I did spend $20 on their Membership (w Groupon) and was dead set on my endeavor to know the difference. Time w cashier once I made it (now I know why people smile more at Costco) was also slow and I didnt see one cashier smiling or making small talk w customersChoice in membership: for me, COSTCO . Overall Costco is like Whole Foods. BJ's is like ShopRite

Not wanting to wait for the appointment with my regular eye doctor, I did everything here! The staff here are AWESOME! From Exam to Glasses. I got myself a pair of Office Glasses, and everyday glasses. Not my first pair from Costco, and it won't be my last. I am very happy.
