Brass city pawn is the best pawn shop in Waterbury. Every time I went there I was treated with respect and always paid me what my items were worth and never tried to low ball me. Tony, Steve and all the guys working have always been cool. I would recommend over and over again.

I went in here and had a HP laptop that I only used twice and they refused to give me money when on the internet it says it's worth 170$ then the guy at the front desk says oh it's too cheap it's a HP laptop from 2020 that is in brand new condition I do not suggest this pawn shop go to TCs pawnshops instead

I will never again try to sell anything to this company. I just got off of two phone calls where the person who answered the phone hung up on me. I wanted to sell them 25 1/4 oz gold eagle coins that I bought from Kitco and the Brass City Pawn employee would not give me a general price on what they would pay me for these mint condition coins. He kept saying that he'd have to 1st see them and that the price he'd pay would be75-80% of the Kitco buy-back price (kitco buys at $10 below the online spot price). I tried to tell him that these coins that I bought from Kitco were in perfect condition (I only handled them twice-counted them when I received them and again to sell them) as he kept cutting me off as I was trying to get him to provide me with a general price that he'd pay me for these 25 perfect condition 1/4 oz gold eagles-probably because he'd say that they had blemishes so that he could offer even less. I just contracted a sale back to Kitco today because the price Kitco is giving me, less the cost for UPS pickup/delivery/insurance-$115.15 exceeds the price that this pawn shop would pay me by +- $2967.42-$2350.90. This review is my opinion of the way this company transacts business with the public.

Love Brass City Pawn!! They are so easy to deal with. The prices are more than fair, and they are always willing to work with you on the price. Very friendly staff that know their jobs.
