Usually love coming here! In and out in 10 mins max however today not so much! Place was jammed pack with standing room only. If I didn’t need this blood drawn for something serious I would have left. There was only 1 to draw blood who was also checking in patients. Slowed up the entire process. A 2nd staff member came in at 10:07. Once he did they both vanished. Going on another 10 mins later and nothing happening and no patients being drawn. Still standing room only. Such a shame bc there are several elderly patients that are getting g restless. I think it’s time I find a new lab other than Yale. Quest or wondering if Hartford Healthcare has their own lab stations. Shouldn’t have to wait longer than 30 mins to get in and out. Yale needs to get their act together!
Edit: patients are all starting to complain and the 2nd worker who came in only came in to pick up viles. It’s not the employees fault. Yale makes ton of money and need to adequately staff. We are still sitting over an hour later waiting to be drawn.

I visited this draw station for the first time today with my 3 year old. Everyone we encountered was so friendly! I was taken right in and the phlebotomist Janae (I hope I spelled that right) was amazing! She was super friendly from the moment she called us into the room and she made my 3 year old feel so at ease. She was gentle and caring and made it such a positive experience for him! Thank you Janae!

There is a Mexican girl that works in the Wallingford office her attitude sucks and she is extremely nasty. She wanted to have a verbal altercation with me and tried to get the last word as if she was on the streets of fair haven. I’ll never come here again and I will be filing a complaint with whoever her supervisor is as well as her supervisor’s supervisor.

I’ve never had an issue with a Yale Blood Draw stations, but the one in Wallingford completely amazed me today! first thing on a Monday morning and busy, they had me, and at least 4 other patients that I saw, in and out in about 15 minutes. The receptionist and phlebotomists have this down to an absolute science!! Bravo.

Went to the one in Cheshire and was in and out. The phlebotomist was very nice. I would definitely go there again over Quest.

I have to have blood drawn every month, so I’m there constantly. Every single person there is fast, efficient & extremely pleasant. I’ve never needed repeated poking, like I have at the hospital ? and I’m rarely at this place longer than 5-10 minutes. I wish I didn’t have to do this monthly, but my experiences there are 100% perfect!!!!!❤️

Dawn was absolutely amazing. The glucose test was absolutely horrible to drink and then wait an hour for the blood test but Dawn made it fun. She was so personable and entertaining. I’ve never laughed while getting my blood drawn. She’s the only reason why this place is getting 5 stars.

Yes it is faster but wait til you get your bill!!.many insurances do not cover completely and patient doesn't know this until several months later when the bill come in. I've had to pay hundreds of dollars over the past 2 years because the Dr steered me to yale instead of quest.
