Place used to be great with the pharmacist Jeff. Place has gone drastically downhill since then. If you call the pharmacy and press 3, they don't pick up. If you do manage to get someone to pick up they pick up the phone and hang up. If you read other reviews here it's the same thing. Wife had a vaccination scheduled and I called to set one up around the same time. After calling and being hung up on for over an hour on Friday, the woman finally answered and said I didn't need an appointment. Showed up at 12:30 PM. Was 3rd in line. Longer line formed behind me. All 4 people in the pharmacy looked at us and did nothing. The woman in the front waited over 25 minutes while the whole pharmacy ignored the drive thru and the line. After 35 minutes it was my turn. I asked for a flu shot, and they said they were going to lunch at 1:30. I advised it was only 1:05 and my conversation the day prior. She said the pharmacist doesn't want to do it today and to reschedule. I asked where. She said online. I went to Stop and a shop and got right in. Wife went later in day. Woman in front of her waited for an hour after her appointment to be seen. Pharmacist said they were "really busy". It was just the two of them with no one in drive thru. Wife waited 50 minutes for a vaccination. New pharmacist is slow and unwilling to factor bedside manner in with patients. Staff cares only about lunchtime. Will be moving to another Pharmacy after 30 years.

It is impossible to speak to a pharmacist by phone. There is also, when you can reach one, a pharmacist who has, repeatedly, given me incorrect dates when my Rx will be filled. This is a med I need every day, and the lack of communication, and wrong info makes their Rx dept quite poor.

I spend a lot of time getting someone to answer the phone in the Wallingford pharmacy dept. I have been put on hold, then the time runs out and I am disconnected. Is it time to change to another company???

Funny how this store's shelves were very thinly stocked, but there was a large Valentine's display-no shipping problems with that! My purchase was a pack of cigarettes (yes, I know). The cashier asked to see my Driver's License. I responded that I was 73 YEARS OLD and asked why it was required. Her curt response was that it was store policy. OK, I could have left without purchasing, but before I knew it, the cashier scanned the license into the RiteAid system. I did not give her permission to scan it; only agreed to show it to her thinking she could visually check my birthdate. I would advise RiteAid to train their employees to inform customers that their data will be scanned and remembered by the company. Having had my personal data stolen once by a careless employer, I am especially sensitive to this action.

Cashier, Nelson, was so nice. I was looking for a battery and he came right over to me and helped me find the right one without me even asking for help. Nelson greeted me when I came in and was very pleasant. Thanks Nelson!!
