My credit union closed unexpectedly, so I needed a physical location to do my banking. I walked into this branch at 9am to see maybe five or six employees moving about. When asked if I needed help I explained I was interested in opening a new account. Technically I needed to open two Checking accounts, a savings account, three kid accounts, and two separate business checking and savings accounts, but I didn't lead with that. They told me they were too short staffed and that I would "need to go to another branch, maybe Meriden", like I was a POS too beneath them to bother giving me the time of day. TD Bank across the street had three less employees and immediately took me aside to open an account, fantastic customer service at TD Bank. Come to find out TD Bank is open seven days a week, has some great small business resources, and again their customer service was top notch. &@#% Webster Bank, I'm thankful I got to see their poor customer service first hand, right away, before I opened an account with them, but again, &@#% Webster Bank.

Watch out people this Webster Bank does not accommodate the handicap. Customer service is very poor.

I would give 0 stars but can't. The management in this location mishandled my business account.They essentially stole over $1000 in overdraft fees and would not allow us to block charges when we had moved to a new bank.I had to run around between multiple locations.Many managers from different locations said this could be refunded. But the managers at this Wallingford branch had no empathy and were disregarding of the issue.This game of chasing my money was costing me expensive time that would have a better return when I focus on my business. So I had to stop with it.Just putting this here so others do not get played with in the same way.We were good customers for over 2 years and wanted to change banks. Because of this we lost over $1000 in fees to this location.Please refund.

Change Account requirement without notify me, so they charges $21.95 monthly fee for it's Premier Checking. I called to find out why, the customer representative answered the phone said they are very busy and will call me back. Never called me back.

Tried to say I owed them money which beyond any statue of limitations over 7 years ago.. Federal law dictates derogatory information can stay on a credit file for uo to 7 years. Girl that helped me was a dimwit
