I will start off by saying Amit was awesome.I wouldn’t do business with the mechanic or owner. Purchased a car 5/8/23. Prior to purchase complained about grinding in the breaks. Mechanic said it was normal cause it was sitting for a while. After further complaints, Amit drove it and somehow convinced the mechanic to change them. I was given the car with 15% oil life, and the little oil that was in the car was black. At first I was told that the oil life percentage doesn’t mean much, until I offered to send pictures I took of the low amount of oil/ color of it. Also should note that there was a problem with the starter and I had to push to have them purchase the part. Didn’t even bother having their mechanic install it due to their reluctance to address the issue.I would like to mention that today, on 6/12/23 I have to replace the 2 break pads they didn’t replace and all 4 roters.Overall it’s a good car, but the mechanic and owner will try to scam you if you don’t stress the importance of the issues.Editing to add pictures- while replacing my roters on 6/18/23 we noticed the very poor condition of the calipers. My husband did not take a picture of the rusted roters prior to replacing them. Switching my review to one star due to this major safety issue.Should be noted that the breaks had issues and was something that was listed as a concern prior to purchase.

I bought Honda Civic 2010 in 2017. Their service was excellent. It’s a great car. I have driven this car almost 80K miles. I haven’t had any issue since 2017 to Today, I did only regular maintenance.Thank you!! Wallingford Auto Center

I bought a Subaru Forester from them. Although, they assured me head gaskets were good, it started leaking oil and coolant just 2 months after I bought it. Now, I am quoted 3k to replace the head gasket. I am pretty sure they knew about the condition and I was naive as to trust them, without having an independent mechanic check the condition of the car. Now, I am not sure whether the car will last long enough to worth the money the other shops are asking for repairs.

Amit was helpful and straightforward given the short time. In a matter of a few days, my father and I inquired the price for a car he listed late last month, do a couple test drives, and purchased the vehicle. We were made aware of a faulty parking sensor and gave it a few more days before picking it up to have it fixed which Amit had no problem covering the replacement and repair. I've been driving it almost daily for the past couple weeks since and had no issues and my father also noticed no huge issues.It was great that this all worked out in a short amount of time.Couldn't thank Amit enough.

My experience at this dealer has been a rollercoaster. If it were possible to give a negative 10 i would. They lie about cars are on the lot.

i brought this dealership to small claims court and they lost - now they violated a court order to pay me damages as ordered by court. i already submitted a motion for contempt and the owner risks being arrested! do not trust this dealership - they engage in illegal activities!

They will sell you rotted out vehicals that have plain sheet mettal not welded in stuck under the carpet i had a ranger for 24 hours and got headaches from carbon monoxide getting into the vehical i would not recoment you evan bother looking at vehicals here

I recently bought a car from here and it was absolutely worth the price. The customer service was excellent, all the paperworks went very smooth. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and families.

I bought a car here a few weeks ago I haven’t stopped having problems with it and the owner says he’s only responsible for engine and transmission he never serviced the car before he gave it to me i had to do my own oil change my own tune up and now I have to changed cracked rotors brake pads and calipers because it’s all bad and rusty I personally will never buy another car from here again I rather deal with the larger dealerships where they actually take care of that especially after charging me 10,000 for a car??????

When to test drive a car, the car is knocking and they are trying to sell it to me as is without looking at it. I feel this place will scan you save yourself time money and a headache and move on

Such a shame! I expected MORE from a dealership! They got a trade-in which I test drove, but it had a check engine light on - they refused to let me drive it down to Auto Zone and have them tell me what the code is. By law, they cannot sell a car that has not passed emissions and they didn't want to deal with a hybrid car with a check engine light on - THEN they told me that they didn't have to fill out a DMV Registration form! So I had to make 3 trips to DMV, one trip back to them to fill out the correct paperwork and THEN I had to bring the car in for emissions testing. They said if I didn't like it, to bring the car back and they'll return my money. These people should be reported to the state! I AM DISGUSTED BY THEIR BUSINESS CONDUCT AND PISS-POOR ATTITUDE NOT INCLUDING SELLING CARS WITHOUT EMISSIONS AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS!

Yelp needs to let us leave negative stars. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. The dealer acknowledged that the car we were about to buy had brake issues, and he said he'd need an extra day before we picked it up to have the brakes fixed. BTW, I told him the car needed to be safe because my grandbabies would be riding in the car. I picked up the car, and it was fine on in-town roads. I got onto the highway and almost lost my life when I tried to exit off, as the brakes didn't work properly. I had to go back to Wallingford Auto Center, and they told me the mechanic shop to go to. The mechanic informed me that they had told the dealer THAT THE CAR WAS NOT SAFE TO SELL OR DRIVE. He also told me that the dealer DID NOT HAVE HIM FIX THE BRAKES. Long story short, I went back to WAC and refused to leave until the dealer went down to the mechanic's with me. He tried everything to get out of it - including driving past the garage, thinking I would pull in, but I didn't. I kept following him instead. He then pulled into a drugstore parking lot and THEN proceeded to tell me that he had the brakes fixed at ANOTHER garage. I called him on his BS and forced him to go to the garage with me. After 30 minutes of arguing and the (honest) mechanic not wavering on what happened, the dealer agreed to fix the brakes. I had to have him put EVERYTHING in writing and sign it and made an appt with the mechanic for the following morning. Within an hour, the owner of the dealership called me and told me the mechanic didn't have any openings for the next few days, and he asked me to DROP THE CAR OFF AT THE DEALERSHIP AND LEAVE IT WITH HIM. After I finished laughing, I hung up the phone. BTW, I also had to fight with these folks to get a copy of the Bill of Sale and registration. Anyway, American Muffler saved the day, and I now have a safe car - no thanks to this scumbag car dealership.
