Made the 40 minute drive to this gem of a shop. Extremely knowledgeable with so many parts available right there in his shop. I will definitely make another trip the next time I need a timepiece serviced and I look forward to the friendly banter while I wait.

A master at his class. It’s hard to find true genuine technical watch repair, but this is the place. Gary fixed two timepieces for me. One was a crystal glass replacement, the other watch reattaching a second hand that had fallen off inside the watch. Amazing work, efficient and quality results! More reasonable than a jewelry store, more knowledgeable and better results.

Cleaned and fixed my great great grandfather's train conductor pocket watch, explained the entire process, gave me a bunch of information on the history and workings of the watch, and was professional throughout. Highly recommend!

Newer shop is next to my haircutter, so I stopped in to get a battery changed on a watch I couldn't get the back off of myself. There was a man ahead of me who appeared to be a reseller; he had a lot to discuss and kindly let me go ahead. The owner struggled with my watch and finally resorted to using a hammer (!) commenting that the watch appeared new. As he worked I looked around the shop which is a trove of old watches, clocks and memorabilia for sale. He mentioned that he was always looking to buy pieces and collectibles, especially sports related. He put my watch back together, set it and charged a reasonable fee. The watch is older and has been stopping occasionally so I will probably go back and ask him to overhaul it for me. Watch and clock repair people are scarce these days and from his tool bench and the way he handled my watch I could tell he knows what he's doing.

I had an old clock that’s been in the family for many years. It hadn’t worked for decades. I decided to have it repaired. I contacted The Timekeeper and was very happy that I did. Gary took the time to explain the inner workings of this complicated time piece. It’s now working like new! Can’t thank Gary enough for his knowledge and expertise. I highly recommend The Timekeeper!

Gary at The Timekeeper really came through with a solution for an older Seiko watch that required an integrated steel bracelet. He was able to locally source a quality Seiko steel bracelet and retrofit it to the watch. After a few hours, I received a call to come pick it up. Thank you Gary for a great job on the bracelet!

My son has a love of clocks so I thought I would take him down to get a look and Gary was so kind and patient. He took time away from his work to happily give us a tour, wind some clocks, give some details and offer some really cool stories! I would certainly see him for all my clock needs or just for the conversation!

This was actually about the 5th place I went. I have a Relic water resistant watch with a dragon that lights up. The battery died. I brought it to Zales, Kay's and Jared's all wanted a out $80 to replace the battery and it would have to be sent out and take about 3 weeks. I then went to a local jewelry shop here in Middletown. She replaced the battery got the dragon lightning up and set the watch. But she didn't know how to get the hands moving. Said it might be dead. I brought it to The Timekeeper. He opened it. Asked if I knew the watch takes 2 batteries. I did not. He replaced the 2nd and got the watch working. Very professional and affordable. Wish I took it there first. Will be back next time around.

I have a vintage Rolex watch that just stopped working. I was having difficulty finding a watchmaker to work on it until I was very fortunate to find "The Timekeeper". The owner/ watchmaker, Garry Craig, is an amazing craftsman. He returned my Rolex to working order and cleaned it up to make it look like the day in 1979 it was purchased. I highly recommend Garry for any kind of watch or clock repair.
