Firstly we couldn’t have been more happy with Marie work! She is an excellent groomer. She takes her time with your pup and goes at a pace they are comfortable. Our Oliver was a bit nervous and then he got to know Marie as she was grooming him and was loving on her when she was finished giving him his first full spa day! She is honest and very knowledgeable and a very sweet person. We will definitely be returning for many more spa days for our boy Oliver!! ??

I almost don’t want to review because I want this place to be a well-kept secret - but absolutely the best bichon/doodle grooming place around new haven area (Ive been to a few). This is the only place my dog will happily go in. Not only she is technically amazing, she is flexible and accommodating whenever there’s a scheduling conflict. She makes sure that the dogs are comfortable first and I really appreciate that!

I dog sit a few nights every couple of months. Throughout the past year, I've had 5 of my clients frequent The Dog Den Grooming Spa and they've all come out looking and smelling great!The next time I'm there, I'll update my review with photos ??

Yesterday we took our Ozzie for his first groom at the Dog Den Grooming Spa. What an incredibly beautiful job Marie did! My dog is not easy and I was a bit nervous. Marie is so knowledgeable! Not only did she do a fantastic job, she provided tips to help for his next visit! By the way, his scent is amazing!

Marie is wonderful, w a big heart for our canine companions and their owners.She followed through w return phone calls.She made an exception after I was homebound from the hospital and came to my house for a nail trim.She was considerate to her clients when her own dog was ill and did not want to mix company.She is humble, kind, compassionate and professional.I will continue here w Marie and HIGHLY recommend her.

Marie is such a thoughtful and caring groomer. The space is detailed and super clean. My pup gets a spa day once a month and actually enjoys coming here! I would highly recommend the Dog Den, your dog will be in great hands!

I can't say enough positive things about the dog den grooming. Maria went out of her way to make my newly rescued dog comfortable, she was gentle,kind and caring. I knew this was the perfect place, it's extremely clean and there's windows everywhere so you can always see your pet. No crates or kennels, a very relaxing atmosphere for your pet. Definitely will be back.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE DOG DEN!

I brought my pup to The Dog Den for the first time yesterday. From my initial conversation w/ Marie, I knew my dog was in good hands. He is a 1 yr old brindle poodle mix w/ A Lot of energy. Not only does she use top notch products but Marie accomplished the impossible -the perfect cut. Usually after a grooming appointment, my dog can’t wait to leave and will drag me toward the door, not this time. He actually went back into the room he was groomed in to check it out! This has never happened with any of my dogs- I was beyond impressed. I can’t say enough good things about Marie & the Dog Den. If you want someone who treats your dog like a member of their family- this is the place for you.

I brought my five month old Frenchie in for a bath and nail cutting. I was nervous to leave him, but Marie is wonderful! Loqui was totally at ease and he smelled AMAZING when I picked him up. I love supporting a Veteran owned business. I’ll be back every month!

Today was Harlee's first grooming here and I cannot say enough good things about Marie and her business she's created. Right when we walked in the door Harlee seemed more comfortable than anywhere we have previously brought her. Marie was kind and personable and so sweet and gentle with our pup! Harlee even tolerated the blow drying well because of how Marie was with her! We will definitely be repeat customers!

Harmarie did an outstanding groom on my Ch. Cocker Spaniel! I normally drive 2.5 hours to a show / professional groomer but wanted to find someone closer and the Dog Den delivered, plus she has gotten learning tips from my show groomer. Was very pleased. Her new grooming spa is very clean too! :)

Amazing experience all around. Very friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable. I like that my dog got a lot of attention and Marie made him feel welcome. Facility is gorgeous inside and extremely clean.
