I give one star, I would like to give 0 because of the terrible attitude that the employee with pink hair had. I arrived and asked her for clipping scissors and she pointed out where they were. I didn't even wonder if I needed help choosing which one. After a few minutes of looking at them, I asked her. I asked her which of the scissors she recommended and she told me, well it depends on whether you are a professional, the most expensive ones and if not the cheapest ones and if not the cheapest ones, she even went and pointed out the cheapest ones, what an excellent saleswoman, then she told me I decided to buy the most expensive ones because I am a professional and I called her and she told me why and I told her to give me the most expensive scissors because I am a professional and she took them out and she gave them to me reluctantly and then there was a young woman in the cashier charged me and she went there for I don't know why and the same cashier offered 10% on my purchase and she didn't want them to give it to me, she made the young woman take it away. I feel disillusioned with that Sally's that's why I'll keep going to Sally's in North Haven, they are very professional there, the only reason I went there was because I was in the area and this is the second time I shopped here, she is employed, attention should be drawn for her poor service and treatment of people she doesn't like, it seems I am a cosmetologist and I deserve respect and good treatment. I have been buying Sally's and my entire family has been buying for 15 years.

I used to be a regular at Sally starting when they gave you an actual Rewards Card for points on your purchases back in the day. Then I started buying products online especially before and now during Covid (it's a small store, a little claustrophobic even) because I had problems finding what I wanted and the staff were never that helpful (you'd get that look like you were annoying them). Unfortunately, that hasn't changed & it's gotten worse. The nail supplies used to be in the front of the store for many years but now it's all hair color supplies in the front, in the middle and in the back with only a very tiny selection of nail polish, files & supplies (so we'll hidden I had to ask again where they were). I went there, hesitantly, after a hair salon recommended I go to look at the Wella Hair Color & Developer and swore that the staff would help me choose a color, answer any questions I might have about ingredients (allergic to Glycerin) and how to do the coloring system since it's different than L'Oreal that I used when I couldn't get to my hairdresser. Just as I thought would happen, I got very little help or assistance. I had to keep going from the front of the store over to her in the middle of the store to ask where I could find certain items that I had saved as Favorites on their App. I asked for help choosing a color and was told to pick what I think I might look good on me. I had questions about products I picked out but again, she wasn't that helpful especially when another worker came in and they started talking while stocking products. Oh and the young woman told me to go in YouTube to see how to put the hair color & developer together, etc. So if I do go back to Sally, it'll never be to the Wallingford store, ever. Hopefully the Hamden or another town's branch will have more helpful staff and a better store layout so it's easier to find products on my own.

Very rude and not helpful at all. Shelves were bare and nothing in stock. Girls at the front were too busy talking to each other than to help a customer.

Very rude and racists people I will never come here again and I recommend that others don’t either the lady act as if she was bothered by me asking questions and was rolling her eyes she even went as far as to talk bad about me in Spanish to her co worker thinking I wouldn’t understand her because of how I look but I understood very clearly being that I also speak Spanish even though it might look like I’m not I’ve had bad costumer service experience here before and I have not been back there to shop in a while and going there again reminded me why.

The computers were down.. unable to get a savings card.. did not take the coupon I handed to her.. but she gladly helped another customer with her purchases and questions.. hopefully will have better luck at another store.
