The reminder service is borderline criminal harassment. They once called me 7xs in one day, I rushed down and demanded to speak to someone with authority and asked “did someone die? WHO gave you authority to ring my device 7xs in one day?” They said they’d take me off the reminder. I blocked the number, they still call. Now only twice a day. Now the texting good lord, I’ll reply with stop every single time and they’ll reply with I won’t receive anymore communication next day they text me. So I call the store and I told them if I get ONE more, and I mean ONE MORE CALL AND/OR TEXT I will file a criminal complaint of harassment. They put me on hold for 18mins. I called Wallingford police and asked them they said absolutely I could and to document it. So here we are Sunday 4/28 and I just received my 2nd reminder and my first was 4/27 after replying with stop. LEAVE ME ALONE STOP CONTACTING ME!!!!!

Place used to be great with the pharmacist Jeff. Place has gone drastically downhill since then. If you call the pharmacy and press 3, they don't pick up. If you do manage to get someone to pick up they pick up the phone and hang up. If you read other reviews here it's the same thing. Wife had a vaccination scheduled and I called to set one up around the same time. After calling and being hung up on for over an hour on Friday, the woman finally answered and said I didn't need an appointment. Showed up at 12:30 PM. Was 3rd in line. Longer line formed behind me. All 4 people in the pharmacy looked at us and did nothing. The woman in the front waited over 25 minutes while the whole pharmacy ignored the drive thru and the line. After 35 minutes it was my turn. I asked for a flu shot, and they said they were going to lunch at 1:30. I advised it was only 1:05 and my conversation the day prior. She said the pharmacist doesn't want to do it today and to reschedule. I asked where. She said online. I went to Stop and a shop and got right in. Wife went later in day. Woman in front of her waited for an hour after her appointment to be seen. Pharmacist said they were "really busy". It was just the two of them with no one in drive thru. Wife waited 50 minutes for a vaccination. New pharmacist is slow and unwilling to factor bedside manner in with patients. Staff cares only about lunchtime. Will be moving to another Pharmacy after 30 years.

Impossible to speak with pharmacy by phone.In Oct 2023, today I called the store and a received a BUSY SIGNAL.To speak to Rx Center, the instruction is to hit 3. Then it rings, then the voice message comes up, then again hit 3.I went through this for 30 min from 3-330PM.Frustrated, I decided to try again later.From 6-630PM, I wasted another half hour, and still was not able to get my important question addressed by a pharmacist.This is very, very poor customer service.This is not the first time this has happened. My experience is this is far-more common than calling and being able to speak with a pharmacist.Do they just decide to not answer phone for days at a time?It sure seems so.

It is impossible to speak to a pharmacist by phone. There is also, when you can reach one, a pharmacist who has, repeatedly, given me incorrect dates when my Rx will be filled. This is a med I need every day, and the lack of communication, and wrong info makes their Rx dept quite poor.

My first time at this Rite Aid because they had the vaccine I wanted. The store was super clean, beyond my expectation, and products were displayed neatly on the shelves. Staff was efficient and friendly. This might be my go-to pharmacy if I didn't live out of town.

My go-to pharmacy. I know the staff and it's nice to be recognized there. They have delivery and drive up. The pharmacy staff is very well versed and the entire staff is very friendly.

The pharmacy closes for a half hour for lunch you mean to tell me you can't eat and deal drugs at the same time.... And when I say closed I mean closed... As in not getting your prescription...

Since the owner responds to every review maybe This time I'll get a call. I have posted a review on many different stores sites, because once you do you can't go back on that site it seems. My complaint is about the East Haven store in Foxon. On December 7th I had a situation in this store and proceeded to send a review and call customer service. Since then I have reviewed on several stores sites, made at least 5-7calls to corporate and each time repeated the info of incident. Spoke to multiple reps each one telling me how terrible this incident was and will send it up the ladder to the proper people. Each promised I would get a phone call in 2-5 days. It has now been 9 days and waiting. Since the owner seems to read all reviews \"the response to reviews says from the owner\" maybe this person will call because no one else seems to care. TOTALLY DISAPPOI NTED!!!!!!!!

I spend a lot of time getting someone to answer the phone in the Wallingford pharmacy dept. I have been put on hold, then the time runs out and I am disconnected. Is it time to change to another company???

Rite Aid used to be #1 but things have changed. The Pharmacy is Closed from time to time unexpectedly because of NO Pharmacist available and even if there’s one available the Drive Thru is Closed frequently.
