I also observed a customer trying to give an employee a difficult time and the employee handled the situation very professionally and with a smile. This was my first time at this location too. Chris at the register was very very informative and the young lady working with him helped me so much with the questions I had And had a lot of knowledge about our pet hampster I had questions about. Overall because of my experience I will be shopping at this location all of the time. Thank you for all of the help and guidance.”

“I discovered that they offered an area you could bathe you dog. Not only do they offer an area but they provide a variety of shampoos from aromatic to some made for sensitive skin. Towels and a dryer are also provided. Add to that staff members that are friendly and customer oriented”

“I previously worked with Jake at the Southington location, who was excellent. Ultimately, we found the puppy that is right for us at the Branford APC. Both locations had lots of adorable puppies of many breeds, but the puppy that was right for us was located in Branford. There, all of the team members who helped us were great: kind, knowledgeable, well-trained in proper procedures, and very efficient. In addition to that, Dave led us through the steps we needed to take once we had identified our puppy. He patiently answered our many questions, clearly explained the company's warranty, led us to the various products we needed and assisted us to size them, etc. We are thrilled with our puppy, and APC made the process of finding and taking her home a pleasure.”

“Our 2 1/2 yr/old Golden needed his nails cut, and though his "coat" was a little long, we were concerned about how cold the weather has been. We took him to the Petco in Wallingford, CT, where he received great care. It was our 1st such visit, and the staff and service was outstanding! They did his nails, did a great job with his undercoat, and gave him a lighter than normal trim, and he looked outstanding. We will certainly keep them in mind for Nicky's next haircut, especially with these circumstances.”
