Unfortunately I would have liked to use this company. But I was told by an agent in June that as of January 2024, Lincare's new policy is as follows;no longer provides services to medicare due to the cost of reimbursements of the power mobility scooters.Meaning you have to pay out if pocket which can be thousands of dollars.
The powered wheel chairs are just as expensive. I was eligible for one, but the catch is the car lift and ramp are considered out of pocket outdoor appliances and is not covered by insurance. Just beware if these and save yourself the frustration.
Also If you get caught in the rain and the motor gets damaged it's your responsibility and they will not replace it. This news is devastating to myself and others. The same goes for J&L medical (partner company).
Very disappointed in this shameful discriminative and shameful fact. They focus on cost manufacturing and not the illness and permanent or temporary disabilities of people.

My wife and I won't have anything to do with Lincare or it's sister company J&L. We are using another DME (Durable Medical Equipment) for all our CPAP orders even though we have to pay out of pocket until our new DME supplier can get approval with our insurance company. Clearly we are very disappointed with them.

I had a situation with respiratory needs in regards to trachs. Joanne W in customer service went above and beyond to find a solution to a discontinued product for someone who was not able to use the replacement item. She initially said she would try to make some calls later that day, but instead, I got a call back within an hour with all the details necessary to assist this person with her trach. That was outstanding customer service and am greatly appreciative of her hard work and determination to solve this problem. Kudos to Joanne!
