Being new to the area after after a total life change at 56.There was a lot going on with me. In 2019 I was hit and run over As a pedestrian by a 2019 Jeep Cherokee SUV and sustained severe injuries.Yes, I had gained some weight and I've always been up and down with my weight but my goal was to avoid a disc fusion and two knee replacements.I hadn't gotten the proper physical therapy due to COVID so, while trying to learn my way around. I happened to find myself outside StrongerHerfitness and had the pleasure to meet Erika Hurst.She has been instrumental in helping me not only physically but the her gym and the people there are like a family. Erika is very, very knowledgeable In our body, how our body works, nutrition, exercise.My first meeting with her (as she does with everybody) was an individual session and she set a plan specific to my body. Taking my injuries into consideration, She is well educated on what would be uncomfortable and what we needed to build strengths on.She has a professional yet delightful personality. The gym itself has a very relaxing demeanor yet everybody's doing their thing.Erika Makes sure she keeps an eye on everyone's workout. Encouraging us, answering our questions.We can ask her questions at any time and she asks us "Is this comfortable?" "How are you feeling?"She is genuine, authentic, professional, knowledgeable yet easygoing.For a young lady she has established quite a bit and I'm proud to call her not only my personal trainer, an inspiration but a friend as well because that's just how she is with everyone. Very genuine.If you're looking for somewhere to work out, educate yourself, rebuild your muscles, lose weight any of those things. Erika has the knowledge, personality and sets a very comfortable atmosphere. Personally, I will never go anywhere else.She offers a free trial. I would definitely check it out if you're looking into this sort of thing because she starts everybody exactly where they need to be.

A few years ago, I made a life-changing decision to reach out to Erika at StrongHer Fitness. I have never been an athlete and I contantly struggled with fitness, self worth, and dieting. I have never stuck with any type of gym membership, eating plan, or anything for more than a few months. I have been a client of Erika's for almost three years. That speaks volumes, in and of itself. I have learned so much from Erika. I used to be afraid to lift weights and now I absolutely love it. And, as a bonus, you will get to work out with some super rad people - we laugh A LOT :-) The gym is filled with supportive and non-judgemental people. I am still a work in progress, but I credit Erika and her personal training style for the positive changes I have made in my life. I cannot recommend her enough.

I have been a client of StrongHer Fitness for a few years now. I cannot speak highly enough of SHF and its owner, Erika! Erika goes the extra mile to make the gym’s environment inclusive, supportive, motivational, & fun. Her custom training programs meet you where you’re at and challenges you to advance your fitness level as you gain strength, confidence, & endurance. Few trainers can balance this; Erika does it naturally. Working out can be such a daunting “task”. This is not the case at StrongHer Fitness! Sometimes you don’t even realize you’re putting in that hard work because many laughs and great conversations are shared during workouts. Recently I took a trip to CO and did some very challenging hiking. I surprised myself with how strong I have become. Before I joined SHF I am certain I would not have been able to climb to 13,000 feet with relative ease. It’s also always nice to hear from friends how great you look and that you are reverse aging! I certainly can’t take all the credit for that. Sure, I’m doing the “work”, but the brains behind the training is Erika! If you’re looking for an environment that physically (& mentally) challenges you while supporting your fitness goals, look no further. Thank you Erika for your commitment, passion, and dedication to your gym and your clients!

I admit that I'm not what you would call a "gym person." I can't even make a reasonable guess at the number of diets, workout programs, and gyms I've joined just to end up giving up. StrongHer Fitness is different. Erika has created a gym that I look forward to going to multiple times a week. Sure, she's teaching me fundamental lifting skills, and I'm getting stronger, but it's not just that. Erika has created an environment of camaraderie, acceptance, and support. If I have a rough day at work, I know that I have an hour at the gym laughing, coming up with outlandish business plans, and yes, working out ahead of me. StrongHer Fitness is a gym that I know I can stick with longterm. I'm so grateful to Erika and all of the people at StrongHer Fitness. I still hate lunges though.

I can not speak highly enough of Erika and StrongHer fitness. Erika is a fun, supportive and wise fitness coach. No yelling or loud cheering necessary. She inspires her clients to feel good about themselves inside and outside, and she has helped me to feel stronger and more capable than anytime in my 52+ years. Working with Erika also prepared me for a complete hip replacement, and now, 7 weeks later I am back at the gym feeling strong again.

Erika is one of the most knowledgeable and patient coaches anyone could ever be so lucky to have. She has taken the time to help me with pre-workout stretches, guideance in nutrition, and exercises that are original and fun. I am extremely grateful how she always goes above and beyond with everything she has done for me.
