Came in to rent an electric car the website said they would be waiving the underage fee for the car which I was excited for, when I got there I was informed that I could not rent an electric car due to me being under 25 in which case how does it make sense to say you are waiving a fee on a vehicle I don't even qualify for? After that I was forced to hand over almost double the money to get a less safe gas car which I was told was "Brand New" while it is covered in chips the left back wall is about an inch pushed out. I called to speak to a manager and am still waiting on a call back due to this complete lack of sympathy and overall disappointment of a experience.

I have been trying to rent a car for Uber, but when I called ahead and visited the location, I was informed that no vehicles were available. This is the four time I've attempted to rent a vehicle through Uber, and once again, it resulted in a disappointing experience. I wanted to inquire if Hertz no longer rents cars for Uber. I've had trouble renting a vehicle through Uber's rental program. Could you confirm whether Hertz still offers this service or if there have been any changes?

Will NEVER use any Hertz again. Only giving one star since 0 is not an option lol. First of all, we walked in and waited 10 minutes for someone to get to us (they came inside from the back door so not sure where they were). Then, we were told they only have all electric vehicles available when we booked for gas. When we asked what kind of electric cars they have, they said "well I'd have to check because some of them are broken". Then, we asked if a different Hertz had available cars and were told "we don't know. They use a different system and won't answer the phone". So I asked, literally out of curiosity "do you mind calling anyway?". The guy told us "no, they don't answer" and didn't agree to even try. Then, after being there for an hour trying to figure the situation out with them, my elderly mom had to use the bathroom and there was one sign stating "bathroom" and nothing else. The workers had left at this point to go out back again to do who knows what and when they come back in, the lady walks to the bathroom and notices someone's in there. She freaks out and yelled through the door to my mom "Ma'm you can't be in there. Customers are not allowed" (mind you, she was already washing her hands at this point) and then proceeded to chastise my mom when she comes out. The lady never apologized when I said "sorry, there were no signs and we didn't realize" and instead just shook her head and walked out back again
There was a guy doing construction there and even he shook his head and said "guess that's the kind of world we live in now", looking in the lady's direction. Will NEVER use any Hertz again.

TLDR: Car smells really bad and the driver seat had a huge stain on it.
I made a reservation online with “manager’s choice”, but when I got there they gave me a different car other than printed on the rental agreement. They told me it’s manager’s choice and they don’t have any other cars available. Apparently they just gave the original car to another customer instead of me. The car was dirty as shown in the picture, and it also had a very strong disgusting smell. I asked nicely to the manager and another staff if I could get another car. Apparently the manager didn’t care, and I don’t have time to waste there so I just had to leave with this car.

Rented a vehicle through Uber. Vehicle was not maintained and blew transmission on the highway, almost killing me. Hertz said they would tow it and left it on the highway for a week. Customer service at location threatened and insulted me after endangering my life from their gross negligence. Avoid this place at all costs if you value your time, your life, and would like basic customer service.

I feel like they could take a little better care of the cars, not sure if it's this branch's fault or corporate but Al & Jasmine were very accommodating and helpful when the car I wanted had issues. Very pleased with their customer care.

Same review as everyone else. Got a rental Tesla 3 with a slit tire and low tire pressure. Asked to change it and they told us to take it to Firestone and they would change the tire for free. I'm sorry, do I get paid by Hertz for doing their job? Manager is rude to everyone that calls or walks in the door. They have other Tesla 3s on the lot but say they don't.It's inconvenient enough to have our own Tesla hit in a parking lot and have to get it repaired. To top it off with rude unprofessional employees that give you a broken down car is just another slap in the face.I hope this manager gets fired by Hertz. She clearly hates her job and has no interest in helping anyone.

Gave us a car that has an overpowering smell of weed with air fresheners to cover the smell that are horrible. The gas tank was on E with the gas light lit up. ( never ever seen that in a rental) Won’t take a debit card so make sure you have a credit card. Rude staff that aren’t helpful. This particular hertz is horrific!! Stay away!!!

Manger was unprofessional, gave my daughter and I an ear full about another employee as she told me there wasn’t any Tesla 3 available but clearly it was. Then the computer supposedly lost internet where my reservation was lost so she to input all my information back. Then Refused to acknowledge my reservation through AAA. 0 out of 10 I don’t recommend

This location in particular is absolutely horrible, from the time the rental was picked up there has been mechanical issues. The staff at this location wouldn’t even put us into another vehicle. I strongly wouldn’t recommend ever renting a car from this location not to mention they are very rude to customers. The supervisor Jenn is very nasty and races and have no respect for customers.

TL;DR - I rented a Tesla and then I was lying to about swapping vehicles and then was forced to keep the Tesla and the entire rental, despite the fact that I had no use for it. ?I rented a Tesla from this location and called them immediately to tell them that they did not have the adapter for me to be able to use the many NON Tesla chargers available. ?I also noticed that I was really unable to drive the car because of the difficulties of getting used to it, especially considering it's a rental, and I don't have the time to be learning how to drive a new car at this time.?Did not know that Tesla cars do not drive at all like regular cars, and never heard of one pedal driving.?I picked up my car on Friday, and just dropped it off 6 days later for Thursday. ?We drove the car exactly zero times to do pretty much anything. Just once to try to charge it.?The reason for my very bad review, is because I contacted the rental place and told them that I was having issues within a few hours of getting home with the vehicle. I asked if I could swap the vehicle for a different one and was told to come back the next day at 3:00.?I came back at 3:00, and they were closed. Not only that they would not be opening for a few more days because of Christmas and so now I'm renting a car I can't even use.?Christmas ends and now it's Tuesday and I only have 2 days left on the rental so at this point I pretty much just give up.?I bring back the Tesla, and I received no sympathy from anyone over at Hertz Rent-A-Car, I was charged full price of course despite the fact that I could not use the car and I made this very clear to them.And then I check my receipt and they tell me they were doubling the amount that I initially agreed to because they " had to clean out the smoke from the vehicle".Nobody smokes in the vehicle, we weren't even using the vehicle, much less smoking and joy riding.So beyond the fact that I could not use the car, they attempted to explore an additional $450 on top of the 350 for the rental agreement.Although they did clear it up and say it was a mistake, If I had passed over that email, I would have been charged without even knowing it.So they lied to me about switching, they didn't warn me that the car was going to be a little difficult to drive compared to a gas car, and when I attempted to reach out to swap the car, I was met with enthusiasm that turned out to be blatantly lying to me.The only people that I'm okay with were the person who helped me in person to pick up the rental, and that was about it.If possible stay away from this location, because if you rent the car they might say they want to take 450 additional dollars for something you didn't even do.Not sure if that's some kind of scammy behavior they do to people, but they did it to me.Any other rental place would have been a much better choice. I made a mistake by choosing them, and they made a mistake by lying to someone who can consistently destroy the reputation of the company without any help.Overall summary - do not use Hertz rent a car. Use anyone else if possible.
