I have used Gas Works for many years for Propane Refills. Their tank refills and safety couldn’t be matched by the big box stores. Local stores didn’t care that you gave them a brand new tank and they give you an old worn out tank on an exchange. Or a fill cost 40 dollars
Recently we needed to replace our Oil Boiler that was leaking. Corbin and crew made us a priority. Made us feel that we were their number one. Even after the install they checked up on us and even when I went down to pay the bill it was family and they remembered all my animals that they met the two days they were there. They were clean. Quiet and quick. I couldn’t ask for anything better. Thanks guys!

Great business! We have used them for many years. Currently have 2 propane tanks at our home for two locations and one has an alert on it for our generator to make sure it stays filled. There are always prompt with their service!

I brought my Class A RV to get Propane and the young man said verbatim,"Its to much too much hassle for us to fill and RV"It takes us to long and we dont like getting stuck doing it. He said go to exit 8. Unbelievable. It says small family business thats why i went to support them. Dont bother bringing your RV here folks.

Tremendous experience all around. $10 refill for a 20lb tank. In Cheshire the local hardware store charges $21 for the same. The staff were professional and efficient. GasWorks is definitely worth traveling a few extra miles for!

Gas Works was great!!!
They did what they said they would do every step of the way.
Office was well coordinated and keep us in the loop as to when their guys and their sub-contractors were going to be onsite. Even managed the multiple town inspections for us.
The service tech's filled me with confidence on each visit and explained what they were doing and had to do to be compliant.
Thanks

Before 8:30am, the delivery person was yelling, cursing & banging so loudly that he woke everyone in the house. The dog was going crazy. My husband was able to repeat what he said verbatim. Used the "F" word. Complaining about the rain & the fact that he was just in the area 2 days ago. My husband also noticed that the side mirror on his vehicle was pushed in. No way this was necessary given the space in our driveway and only one vehicle there at the time. I wouldn't particularly care to be delivering in the rain either. However the behavior is unprofessional, rude & disrespectful no matter the circumstances. Sadly, this is not our first negative experience. I tend to give small businesses the benefit of the doubt as there are things beyond their control. This man's behavior is 100% within his control and it was unacceptable.

Once again, as representatives of Gas Works ,Chris and Ann have demonstrated excellent customer service .I have been a customer of Gas works for many years. They installed a propane stove, including the lines coming in. They provide seamless delivery of propane. They refill barbecue tanks for the best price around. What I have stated should leave with the impression that they care about product and service. They take pride in all services.check them out .

They have the best prices to fill propane tanks. 15 bucks for regular tank. Fast and efficient, friendly in and out but again it's the prices you can't beat!

The guy who fills the tanks has zero customer service skills. He tells me my tank is expired when it is not, he has done that to me more than once, not sure, maybe he needs glasses or better lighting. It gets tiresome dealing with his attitude and the last time he did it, I said look again, he said oh. Yep, in date, dah, filled the tank, I go to Tractor Supply now and they charge by the gallon rather than by the tank so thank you for being so abrasive as you are, it worked out better for me in the end.

Nice and simple. Came here to refill my propane tanks and couldn't be happier. First time visit and super friendly folks. Done in under 10 minutes. Love supporting local businesses. Will be my go to spot from now on. They also have a showroom for other BBQ as well!

Gas Works is simply the best. Cheapest I have found in all CT. Plus, their friendly and prompt service cannot be beat. Try them - you'll like them too.

I've been coming here for awhile to get our 20 pound propane tanks filled. It's always a fast and friendly experience. You pay at the window, meet the attendant at the dock, tank is filled and you are on your way. The last time I was there, I was in and out in under 5 minutes. At the time of this review, it's $15 to fill a 20 pound tank of propane. They also have tanks available to fill if needed. Prices there are competitive. On a recent visit, it was discovered that one of my tanks was expired. They got a me a new tank, filled it, and I was on my way. If you have multiple tanks, they have carts in the parking area to make moving the tank from your vehicle to the dock easier. Great local business!
