My 10-year-old son takes a medicine that is perpetually in shortage. Our local CVS is not always able to fulfill the prescription. On very short notice this store was able to help assist me in getting the prescription moved from the other store as they had it in their inventory. As they knew it was time sensitive, the whole team worked to help accommodate me. I can’t thank them enough as I had driven out of my way just to get this one script filled while taking time off from work.

It sucks to have this be the closest CVS pharmacy to me- the pharmacy techs are consistently rude no matter how patient and polite you are. Use please and thank you and you still are met with short snips and even complete disregard.
They don't tell you what they are doing and get upset with having to do a little more to get your script filled as if this isn't annoying in itself to the customer!
I've been met with absolute rudeness just for asking for a second take on filling my script and even a third take bc they couldn't figure it out, surprise! I was right, and after 15-20 mins was able to get them to fill the script for the correct price.
Perhaps all these pharmacy techs just need a new job (please do!), everyone will be better for it. Please be kinder and treat others with the respect you expect. Or leave idk.

This location, Wallingford, CT is the best CVS I e been to. Staff friendly and helpful, store extra clean, easy to find products, and always a quick checkout

My prescription was shown as being in process in the morning so out of curtesy I called to let the pharmacy know I am aware of the insurance not covering.plus that I have holiday plans and needed to pic up. The tech Denise who answered was vary rude, abruptly said no and was demonstrating subconscious bios upon me. She stated the pharmacy is very busy and cannot have prescription filled until tomorrow. When I viewed online the script was showing green and scheduled to be filled for 2pm with price due. . She must have went in and changed status and it now reads provider has changed date though it’s a Saturday and my provider electronically sent in three days ago. I feel like she was prejudice towards me , if I didn’t make the call to and speak with Denise there would not have been a delay, nor negative lashed upon me. I have no choice but to use this pharmacy and me and my children have experienced issues prior to this as well. My daughter antibiotic was filled incorrectly. She was to take two tabs a day and the label read one tab a day. They have filled incorrect migraine medication for my youngest daughter and now prejudice and bios upon me , I wouldn’t mind waiting at all but the justification after already in process and the intentional stop of process was wrong. Most importantly the way I was spoken to was APPALLING Denise than changed the status to in process to not fill per provider even though my provider sent electronically in three days ago knowing I needed that day scheduled.
Denise had no right to change what was already in process. She must have been having a bad day and exemplified her misery upon me. For there is no difference with Mrs. Smith filling a medication today vs me. But she evidently was bias and lashed her personal opinion and negative subconscious issues upon me. She changed her justification three times. First busy second days and now provider. Lol. I pay over 800 a month for insurance. I still have to pay out of pocket for some medication and yet to have pharmacy tech …..Stop hold and dictate my life plans It is unbelievable and I am appalled that the pharmacist agreed to such …. As a nurse myself I know what she did was wrong unethical and prejudice.
Beware of Denise. If she answers hang up for she will make getting your medication more difficult and give you fake reasons as to why not filled. She intentionally went into the system stopped and made up some false reason…. unjustifiable it’s judgmental and unprofessional!!
This kind of treatment needs to stop!! Though I should have known with her time when she answered that she was going to start trouble. You could tell she already was in a bad mood and I guess she had to take out on me. This really needs to be filed as a grievance. ….. I feel like I was treated unfair and used as a punching bag! How much you can bet after this review there will be another reason for a delay …. That’s how it goes….. we live in fear and have others dictate our health and life schedule. …… it’s unbelievable!!

If I could do triple negative stars , I would! We have waited weeks to get a RX filled , CVS keeps passing the ball to insurance and to my doctors office. When I have proof that my doctors office already sent an authorization and already approved it with insurance. The pharmacist there is extremely rude and has no Customer Service skills whatsoever. There’s a lot more names I could call her on here.
Will never use CVS again

You better treat the pharmacy like a fast food drive though and check your bag when you pickup because half the time you will not get what you're supposed to.

I am an APRN and would caution anyone against using this pharmacy. I was just hung up on by the nastiest woman for trying to advocate for my patient. The pharmacy made multiple errors putting this patient in harm and then turned it around on the patient. This woman should not be dealing with the public.

I became an extra care member and I appreciate the perks I get. The coupons I revive are based on items they know I purchase. I like Getting 20% off all CVS items I purchase. Also my insurance offers free CVS products through the OCT program for senior citizens. The CVS products are great and as a senior citizen I appreciate they offer this program to their senior shoppersAll employees are polite and very helpful .

Hands down the worst cvs in the country.Brittany the manager is a straight clown and the staff is a joke.Handed out wrong meds in the past, unhelpful staff. Wanted me to come inside or call to refill a prescription even though they could handle it right then. Became very rude when I explained I couldn't find in due to our son being immuno compromised from a bmt. Shocking they are still in business

Went to a walkin, new to area no dtr yet....they called in script to CVS, Wlfd..I have used CVS for years wherever I have lived......I went to pick up the med..young man said its not available. I asked why..he said you have to call your dtr....I was sick...I live aloneI called the walkin...they said med is certainly available..so.simply saying .there is a copay ..and I could have Started med right away........I could have started the med immediately.I may transfer to a different med that day..honestly....HIRzE competent people

The worst lines, the worst customer service the most incompetent pharmacy staff I've ever dealt with. Hours on the phone trying to rectifyissues that they caused. My latest experience was that they didn't have pain medication for a procedure I had.. told me theyd text me when it came in.tomorrow is a week and still no call or text. I just suffered through the pain.thanks alot CVS.you suck.also once you get taken off text notification it's impossible to get back on.ive tried 3 times they keep assuring me I'm back on text not calls but I never get anything but phone calls 8/06 update just got another phone call not a text regarding my prescription.this after the pharmacy manager assured me I would get texts.Also their regular priced items are at least 3 times the price of grocery store or walmart.i often get their 30 percent off of regular priced items coupons and there is not a thing at cvs that's cheaper with the coupon than it is anywhere else. I throw these coupons out now. l11/8/23 last straw today.i transferred all my presciptions to stop and shop.good riddance CVS.

Prescription ready but needed pharmacists sign off. Waiting 30 minutes and she walked by register twice and would not sign off so Waiting customers could leave. Brittany needs to be trained and learn some manners.

The disorganization of this pharmacy gets 10 stars. When you call them, the pharmacy just lets the phone keep saying "you have one pharmacy call" over and over. Or they just do not answer the phone. The waiting periods to pick up your medication is approximately 20-30 minutes in store or drive-thru. Customer understanding and friendliness has much to be desired
