Peter Escobar is amazing. He goes the distance. Helped in selecting flooring. But advised on serious asbestos abatement needed to remove 5 old floors in kitchen. Then came to house to advise how to build up sub flooring so his new flooring would match level to to existing entry floors. Installation was perfect. His showroom associate Jeannette was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful as well. A great team.

Peter is so sweet. I called and scheduled a consult for carpet for a bedroom and he was here the next day to measure and show samples. Ordering & install was an easy process for us as we have crazy work schedules. We are so happy with the way it turned out. High quality for an affordable price.

What an awesome experience with a company that was introduced as a kind flooring company offering 3 sets of flooring free to non profits or faith community organizations! We are Mount Hope Temple Recovery Center Food Pantry in New Haven. By the end of our enquiry , we were offered choice of 5 different sets of flooring! We chose 2 sets of the those! We we able to pick of this beautiful high quality flooring on January 6, within 5 days of our initial contact!Colonial Flooring America is more than kind, they are, thoughtful, friendly, courteous, not only great in the flooring business but conscious of the needs of the community and to be applauded!All of this we attribute to Peter Escobar, President. Peter and his crew did a great job installing our vinyl plank. There was a small issue with gaps left against the wall that were hidden by the carpet however he gave recommendations on how to fix it. Competitive pricing and great service.

If you are planning on installing their carpet on the 2nd floor and don't have a thermostat to control the temperature and a de-humidifier to control the humidity then expect the carpet to wrinkle and don't expect them to fix it without charging you. We had them install a carpet 2 years ago for a cost of $5,100 and the carpet has wrinkles in all 3 rooms. We have a sensor in the loft area on the 2nd floor between 2 bedrooms (the loft is open on 2 sides) and the sensor feeds the temperature to the 1st floor thermostat which balances the temperature on both floors. We keep the temperature at 75 degrees during the day and 73 degrees at night. This temperature is very comfortable for us. During the winter we keep the temperature at 60 degrees. When the owner came out he immediately said that it was caused by excessive temperature and humidity and refused to fix it unless we paid for someone to come out and stretch it.
I would not recommend buying anything from this company.

We choose Colonial Flooring America after reading all the positive reviews and after working with them, I can confidently say the reviews were right! Peter was immensely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful through the whole process. We're pleased with the carpet installation and love the fact that Peter even went the extra mile to help with reinstalling a couple of closet doors! You can't go wrong choosing Peter and his crew!
