Yeah no it's the best grilled cheese/melt/general cheese product you're going to get literally anywhere even remotely close to here.Go here now, but be warned: parking is tough, and it's only going to get tougher as this place gets more popular

Stopped here on a roadtrip from Philly to Boston because we found out about them on Instagram. Amazing grilled cheeses!! We had the Garden (tomato/pesto) and French Onion. Also had the Tomato Soup. Everything was fantastic. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Although we visited in December it was 55 degrees out so we were able to sit at the tables outside and enjoy our lunch right there. It is a small place with no indoor seating, but we didn't mind the take out only concept. Definitely will be stopping again on another trip to New England.

Amazing grilled cheese and a impressive selection of cheeses. Staff was super friendly. The pickle and mustard with the grilled cheese is simply perfection. Tomato soup is delicious.Saw one of their cheese boards ready for pickup and it was gorgeous. Expensive but you know they don't use the cheap stuff.The selection of charcuterie items was also very impressive. Definitely somewhere I would want to drop some serious money.Normally I would take a star off for the less than stellar parking situation and lack of tables but I was so impressed I cannot give less than 5 stars. The grilled cheese should be eaten pretty much immediately but it held up very well with a 15 minute drive.This place is way too good for the location it's in. The kind of thing you would expect to have to drive to NYC for. I'm happy to have them close by but I think a location with easier access and just a few small deli tables would make a big difference.

A take out location for soup and grilled cheese as well as cheeses and accoutrement Their restaurant is greatly missed in New Haven but this was a great thrown back to their luscious indulgent food. Most items are seasonally made and so amazingly good. Gherkins on the side and delightful flavor explosions from all of their items. Don't miss this pop in location!!

I’ve been a fan of Caseus since it was a restaurant in New Haven and was so happy when Caseus Provisions opened closer to home. Absolutely wonderful people, great grilled cheese (I’m a particular fan of their pickle specials when they come up!), and lovely provisions, including a great selection of cheese, in the shop as well. I highly recommend their chèvre brownie and any of the bread pudding they make in house also.

First time visitor to this well-appointed spot --- amazing selection of cheeses and other tempting goodies, and easily the best grilled Cuban sandwich I've ever had! --- all served up by nice friendly folks who know and love their cheese! Will definitely be back ?

Amazing grilled cheese and Soup!!! The owner and staff were very personable! Love that customers are able to experience cheese tasting as well! Who doesn’t love grilled cheese!!! A must to stop buy on your lunch hour!!!!

This place is kind of fire! We got the regular grilled cheese and the pisano (chicken). The bread is pretty thick and the combination of cheeses in the sandwiches is pretty good. Not too much to add here, good food, good grilled cheese and you won't be disappointed.

The grilled cheese is amazing. I don't write reviews unless something is really good or really bad. We don't even live local and we would definitely come back for this! Got the classic grilled cheese and carmelized onions. It legit tasted like a French onion soup grilled cheese. One of the best sandwiches I ever had, and I used to work in a deli! Also the shop is really clean and cute with lots of local cheeses and other goodies to buy, so that is a bonus too!

If you are looking for a great grilled cheese, I recommend you try here because this is not your average grilled cheese! There is basically no parking available besides some street parking if you are driving here. Limited outdoor seating available and tables are not the best as everything slides off the tables you are not careful. So recommend it as a to go option which kinda sucks as what is a grilled if not hot with the cheese melty.

That "french onion" grilled cheese sandwich is crazy good! Guac or bacon both good 'add ons'. The cheese blend is so lovely ("the garden" thou isn't as special as it seems. It taste exactly like the pesto Dunkin grilled cheese from years ago.) I also wish they had a loyalty points/rewards system. Very easy to crave, and want ❤️ the team there is also friendly, and it's a nice business to support.

Honestly, I don't go seeking grilled cheese. I just don't. Why? I'd prefer to get my calories and carbs from brunch and drinks and wings. LOL But I am SOOOO glad that some friends were going and inviting us, because these are on another level and their grilled cheese and tomato soup are allll freaking fantastic! I mean, like really. Grilled cheese is one of those things that (for me anyway) I didn't know what I was missing so I never wanted it. Thinking of the simple sandwiches I made when I was younger because they were easy and tasty. See my reel on ig: @clinkdrinkeat.ct. I tried The Hog and LOVED it, and also had The Pisano which was good, but had nothing on The Hog (IMO). Check them out if you haven't yet. If possible, go with someone so you can swap halves and try more than one kind! They also make beautiful charcuterie boards and sell whatever kind of cheese you could want! If you're GF, then popcorn and cheese may be all you can eat here, LOL.The space is small and clean with outdoor seating only. Food is cooked to order and so fresh and tasty! You can watch your sandwich being made while you wait.
