We purchased a mattress and headboard. The woman who helped us (forgive us, but we never got her name) was absolutely fabulous. She has great product knowledge, products, features and benefits, inventory, and she even hauled the items out for us and helped us get it all into our van. The price was amazing, too. ????????????

I enjoyed shopping in BigLots Wallingford branch. I went there twice today. I met Janet(cashier) and Jen(manager) they were very helpful, polite, professional and provided with good service. All the staff most of the time greet the costumers with a smile. Well done guys! Keep up the good work!

I went to Big Lots because they are advertising they have items from the now closed Christmas Tree Shop (CTS). They had 2 very small shelves of junk from the CTS. I drove thru 3 cities to get there so I felt I wasted my time and gas. I do have to say that the store looked great and it was very different from the store I had visited in the past. The merchandise was much nicer but I do have to say that the prices were high. I spent about an hour in the store and left without buying anything.

some good deals but watch the clearance signs carefully .. alot of sale stuff is not on sale even though a sign saying 50 percent off might be close by ... check with the scanners in the store otherwise you may pay more than you think

Do not buy furniture from Big Lots.You get what you pay for. Which is trash. Not even a year later I’m in need of a new dining set. When I just paid $600 on one from here. Completely unacceptable quality.The employees are also tired and burnt out. They don’t want to do anything. And I understand why. They are clearly understaffed on purpose. They have ONE person in the furniture section doing all the heavy lifting. Lifting items that clearly state two people are needed. Clear reflection of poor management and a greedy company.
