I previously worked with Jake at the Southington location, who was excellent. Ultimately, we found the puppy that is right for us at the Branford APC. Both locations had lots of adorable puppies of many breeds, but the puppy that was right for us was located in Branford. There, all of the team members who helped us were great: kind, knowledgeable, well-trained in proper procedures, and very efficient. In addition to that, Dave led us through the steps we needed to take once we had identified our puppy. He patiently answered our many questions, clearly explained the company's warranty, led us to the various products we needed and assisted us to size them, etc. We are thrilled with our puppy, and APC made the process of finding and taking her home a pleasure.

I don't know what was happening, but, every pup seemed to have loose stool or diarrhea. There were 2 golden retriever pups with bloody liquid stool (which we all know isn't good!). The staff could care less and looked at my fiance and I like we were speaking jibber. I pray ? for these poor babies to get better and see a Veterinarian!

Great place to get all you animal needs. Great selection. Geo was very knowledgeable and helpful, making it a very pleasant shopping experience. My dogs also loved her.

I have been with All Pets for at least 18 years. The staff are great. The club card definitely helps with purchases. Love going to talk to them and get advise.

I come here and spend 5 bucks to see the puppies. It gives me such an endorphin rush. It makes it hard to give these precious dogs back. I believe it will literally turn your day around if you're feeling blue. The amount of supplies, toys, food, and other creatures from reptiles to birds is quite impressive as well.

pretty upset about how we were treated while shopping for a puppy, I called ahead to verify a particular pup was available, then drove a hour and yes the pup was there but I was told I had to PAY to SEE the pup on arrival. I got our Labrador here 4 years ago and that was not the policy then !! I even recommended them to a aunt who got her pup here, she said she was not asked to pay to see it. That is bad business practice and is that even legal??? wow

We purchased a puppy in 2020 before COVID and it was a very pleasurable experience. They were very knowledgeable about the puppies and the store is very clean. We would definitely suggest checking out this place.

Love it! They have the cutest puppies and the store is cleaned and well maintained. The Dog Park is nice with grass (no muddy wood chips)

When you go here, there are many benefits. They offer a membership to play with puppies (you only get 15 minutes to play with 2), and the managers are exceptional, even though they could offer more play time. The managers working tonight (2/15) were extremely kind and let us have double time. Tonight we had a poor experience with a worker named Kylie who called my friend a f'ing c-word after a small mistake that was easily rectified. It was extremely unprofessional and Kylie was extremely rude to my friend the entire interaction.

I was in the middle of a move from Maryland to Massachusetts, transpoting my cat who was miserable throughout the 8 hour road trip. I needed a place to allow my cat to get out of her carrier, possibly use the litter box. The two young girls working the register and their manager (Jesse?) provided [purchased] product and space for me during a difficult time.To them I may have just been another customer interaction that day, but for me I felt saved by their kindness and understanding. Thanks a million.

We purchased the sweetest, most wonderful puppy here in August. They were really great at letting us come, take time with the dog, put down money for a first choice, etc., even bring our current dogs in to meet her. They swore up and down that these were "not puppy mill dogs." One manager even told me the dogs come from "local" breeders. By "local", I assume now they mean in the continental US since ours came from a PO Box-"farm" in some lost town in Kansas and there was no actual breeder name. The day we purchased the dog, there was an irate couple there who was complaining about the dog they'd recently purchased who'd already cost them nearly $5000 in medical fees and quickly assured me that his was not "the norm." Our dog is great (thus the two stars) but she came with us already with Giardia - which has resurged twice now since we got her less than 6 months ago. And, because we have 3 dogs, we have to get medicine not just for her but for all three. And, now she has a UTI. I'm not sure what other fees will be incurred for this sweetest and most wonderful of dogs who has become as much a fabric of our family as my own children, frankly. But if they tell you "we do not use puppy mills" or only cull from "local breeders", they are lying. And, these dogs have all the handicaps and illnesses that the ills of puppy mills inflict on poor little dogs. And, don't fool yourself by telling yourself "you've saved a dog from a mill." If we don't demand puppy mill dogs, they will go out of business. Best of luck.
