“I took my labrador to Glastonbury Veterinary Hospital in a pinch because there was a fire in our regular vet's office. The office staff at GVH was able to get my pup in for services right away. I loved how gentle and attentive the vet tech was. Moreover, I was blown away by Dr. Haviar. Dr. Haviar carefully explained the etiology of my dog's ear infection. He then showed me the proper way to clean his ears and administer medicine. He was so gentle and patient with my dog, who is absolutely terrified of the vet. You can tell Dr. Haviar and his team love animals. Can't recommend this office enough!”

“This VCA location is amazing. Our cat had an issue and needed a follow up 5-7 days after the emergency visit. This is not our normal VCA location, but we had to call around to get an appointment as our normal one was unable to see us for a few weeks and were not as helpful. This location was extremely accommodating, professional and kind from the first interaction. The staff, especially the vet and tech made my partner and I feel comfortable and confident in our cats care. We plan to switch to this location for future visits and wellness checks. “Went in to get a guinea pig for my 11 year old daughter. When we got to the isle were they were located we were greeted by Solenne. She was working on the hamsters but didn’t let that stop her from talking to us and answering all our questions. She was so nice and so knowledgeable giving us tips and taking her time to talk to us about how to properly care for it. She showed us everything we needed and even was so kind to tell us to download the app and take advantage of the price match. We saved lots of money doing so. It was an awesome experience especially for my daughter. Thank you Solenne for giving us that amazing experience.”

“If just rating the staff, this would be a 5-star review. They work hard and really care. The only negative is that this Banfield location in Manchester is severely understaffed (like many places). So, getting through on the phone, securing appointments- the availability of appointments- is not as good as I’d hope but it’s also not their fault…hopefully they can fill out the staff sooner than later.
One downside is if your pet needs certain imaging, it can’t be done at this location.
On the other hand, there are locations all across the country - we started with one in S.C. before relocating North. This came in handy a couple years ago when we were traveling and one of dogs got a nasty eye infection. We were able to get an appointment at a nearby Banfield and he soon recovered, saving our trip!
Last thing: the wellness plans are good and there’s a lot about them I like, but they are expensive if you have more than one pet.
The plans are NOT administered by Banfield so of course it shouldn’t be held accountable for the rates.”
