I think the problem is with the upper management because the customer service needs help dealing with people. I just got back from the store and the old lady in the self-serve area seems to think black people are stupid. She is not the person for that area, and I told her that she didn't like Black People. She told a worker that I called her a racist. I told the worker that I didn't call he a racist, but I did tell her she does not like black people. Some of the workers are okay but as a whole they need some schooling in human relations and dealing with people of all nationalities.

just one register open, I did not have one half hour to wait at the cash register, so I left without my groceries ! Later in the day I had to go do my groceries again thanks to you but this time I went to Big-Y and guess what there were THREE register open, I was in and out. You might want to rethink your business model, pissing of customers not a good one !

When are they going to teach their baggers not to indiscriminately throw stuff in a bag to see how much they can fit. Vegetables and salad under jars!!! I am sick of going to my car and ha Ving to repack my groceries. I should be charging them for their crappy job!!!!

Psuedo-emergency prescription for my doggos - first time to a groomer/boarding facility and they both ended up with a slight respiratory infection. I was a new customer and the vet agreed to call in the prescription for me (thank you Good-Rx). The pharmacist took a pro-active approach and called the vet to get my address/phone number etc instead of waiting for me to arrive and have to wait and additional 10 or 15 minutes. I was in and out of the store with my prescription within 10 minutes. Very professional and accommodating staff. Highly recommend.

Prices are better here than Big Y. The layout of items is confusing. Opening at 6 am is a huge plus. The change of cashiers in the early morning is another added bonus. Only wish they were at their station and not forcing self checkout

Usually get my flu shot here. Never been very busy and always seems to be two people working. Where they give shots is a little cramped but far enough from counter as to provide some privacy. I noticed they greet several patrons by name, so has that small pharmacy feel.

Horrible service due to a lack an employee not serving the right customer. Employee by the name of Daryl was catering to an older women who had already put a thing of four steaks in her cart, meanwhile me and my father were standing directly in front of the counter waiting to be served when this lady cuts in front of us and takes the steaks that I was wanting to get. I suggest stop & shop either train their employees to teach them the right way to serve people who are patiently waiting to be served and not serve people who just cut in line or show favoritism.

As someone who is looking for dairy free items or vegan items, sometimes the selection isn't there. It's frustrating walking into a store knowing right off the bat, you can't have about 85% of whats in there. The store is pretty clean. Pretty good selection of produce. I am hoping to see the dairy free pantry selections grow as over 6 million people have this dairy allergy too. Please order Annie's Vegan Mac!

Updated. Careful at the courtesy desk with getting paid for your cans redemption tickets. The heavy lady is dishonest. I don't really like this store. The placement of items are extremely confusing. Can't find what I want. I tend to shop at gluten free sections. But this store is kinda a confusing mess. Prices are better than done others if you can locate the isles they would be in

people wanted one way aisles and then when they got it they don't follow the arrows. Even the employees were disregarding the flow of traffic. plus there were employees in the meat area standing 2 ft from each other eating garlic chips. I used to love this store but after today i will find another market.

This store is a joke. I walked in the other day, and two associates are literally sitting down and talking on the area where you can self-checkout while people are attempting to self-checkout; they were in the same spot when I left minutes later. On another occasion, I wanted to buy an item that was on sale in the flyer, and the shelf was empty 6 out of the 7 days I stopped in (not the first time it happened). The last straw for me occurred recently when I attempted to self-checkout, and had a bottle return slip. I asked an associate/front end manager ("Lisa") for assistance, and was told that she "didn't have time to cash it in for me", and that I 'would have to go to the courtesy desk'. As luck would have it, there was a long line at the service desk, and her assistance was needed there. By the way she was huffing and puffing, you would have thought that she had just ran a marathon, or seen a ghost. No people skills, whatsoever. When I finally rang out and was leaving, I couldn't help but notice her laughing and joking around at the work station with a colleague. So, if you want to get paid to sit around, not work, pass the buck, and enjoy social hour, fill out an application. This place won't ever see my shadow again; I will take my business elsewhere.

As a person who relies on a pharmacy providing the very best cash price they can, I have to say this Stop and Shop Pharmacy is the very best around. The pharmacist, Stephen Rucki, is absolutely wonderful!! He's consistently friendly (despite usually being the sole pharmacist on), always has a good word to share, will answer any questions you have, most often will greet you by your name (must have an eidetic memory!!), and ALWAYS has a smile. He goes above and beyond... and I mean ABOVE AND BEYOND... to get your doctor's office to approve refills, to get you the absolute cheapest price on your medications, and to get your health insurance company to cover your meds. If I had to deal with as many customer distractions, (at times) inept doctors' office help, health insurance company reps who only know how to say no, and still be friendly and knowledgeable, I wouldn't be up for the challenge. But Stephen is, and on a daily basis. If you want the cheapest prescription prices, the friendliest service, true confidence in your pharmacist, and prompt filling of your scripts, use this Rockville, CT Stop and Shop Pharmacy. NOTE: this is not the Stop and Shop near Vernon Circle, it is in Rockville, near Seraphin Ford. Also- have no fear, if you don't have insurance; Stop and Shop has a discount card program that'll save you tons. You can also pick up many informative, educational brochures and mini magazines (they have a great one on diabetes) at the pharmacy for free. As far as the store goes, it's clean, well stocked, has good everyday prices and great sales, a full organic section, and friendly, helpful employees. I love to shop at Stop and Shop because they're unionized. I heartily support the "work union, live better" philosophy and am proud to support Stop and Shop's unionized workers.

I really like this store. The cashiers are nice and it's clean. There are a lot of good deals too.
