I kept trying to give them 6 stars but 5 was the max. You can read my other reviews over a Bicycles east in Glastonbury and Cycling Concepts also in Glastonbury. This shop was the winner in my experience. Wish I had saved time and gone here first. Long story short I had a Lecktric bike that needed a new brake caliper and the other stores would not touch it based on a circulated email among local dealers to keep people that bought a brand that they didn't sell out in the cold. i gave the guys at Pedal Power a call to be sure and they said of course. Come on in and we will get it done. When I got there I met a gentleman named Steve Stabile was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and had the bike down practically while we waited. I Highly recommend this place. Dont think about the other places that are just in it for the big sale. You should be there to sell a tube, a valve stem or a new bike. Some sales are small and some are larger. Hope this review helps someone.

I have been to this shop before to have 2 different electric bikes that was purchased while I was in California serviced there for minor things like tune up, flat tire, helmets, locks, etc.. It looks like they want to lock out their neighborhood customers and limit it to only Bikes they sold them. I had the need for a new brake pad to be installed and was told they didn't touch any other bikes unless they sold them into their shop. They told me 1) too heavy (although I have had them service it 2x before), that they didn't want to get into a job and have it cost 7-10X of the cost and have me not pay. I even offered to have them call me before proceeding or even sign a hold harmless agreement but it boils down to they want to squeeze out any brands they didn't sell. The person was apologetic for this position and said if I got stuck to call him back and he would try but no promises. That sent me down the street to another place. Bottom line is I took it to another place in Vernon (Pedal Power) and they did it fast plus a tune up for 99 dollars.. Steve at Pedal Power is wonderful if you are in the same bind with Lectric e-bikes needing a fix - even a flat tire. I would buy anything in the future from them because they see business as a long term relationship. I was very disappointed with the 2 Glastonbury bike shops. I will post the details of their service (the other 2 that turned me down). One on Main Street I gave 2 stars because I feel that they at least they may have helped me but I don't want to beg for someone to service a very easy install that took 30 min. Thankfully, there are companies like pedal Power, that will be around longer than these mom and Pop shops that just want a quick buck. For them, I would just suggest give me a price that says I don't really want to do the work and at least it's my choice but they wouldn't even do that. Again shout out to Steve at Pedal power in Vernon.

My go to bike shop for years. Terrific, high quality service - John helped me out big time recently right before an overnight bikepack trip. Good selection of accessories, parts, etc. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Pedal Power in Vernon! The service department went above and beyond for us! We thought we could easily fix something with my son's bike. We were wrong. Today, I took the bike to Pedal Power in Vernon and they got my son back on his bike in minutes. They really went above and beyond. They were so kind and generous

UPDATED 6/30/23: I feel the need to update my glowing (below) review because what started out as a wonderful experience is now becoming a source of angry frustration. VERY long story short: on day 2 of having my bike - back tire went flat. Took it to the shop and they gladly put in a new tube and fixed it - we joked about meeting too often. The very next morning I was topping off (to 50 psi) tire pressure before taking another ride. After doing the back tire I was pumping the front tire when the back tire BLEW UP (sounded like a gunshot). Back to the shop but I was still joking and patient and after some lengthy conversations it was agreed that the tires themselves were bad so they ordered 2 new tires (none in stock) from Trek and called me with updates and hoped (not promised) to get me back riding by the weekend (4th of July weekend). I hadn't heard anything for a couple days so I called today (Friday) and they were working on the bike but "had some bad news" - Trek had sent them the WRONG tires...............SERIOUSLY???? My patience is gone along with my sense of humor. I've owned my bike for 10 days and it's been in the shop for 7 plus however long it takes them from today.Original post 6/23/23I've been considering an eBike for a while and finally decided to take Pedal Power up on the offer to test ride one this week. I was so Wowed by the test ride that I put a deposit on it so I could ponder for a couple days to be sure.Went back today and was helped by Tammy & George who were both VERY knowledgeable and patient with all my questions (and there were many...lol). Picked out a couple 'must-have' accessories and they put them on for me right then. Came home, made sure everything was ready to go and headed for the rail trail for my first bike ride in over 1 1/2 yrs. Maiden voyage was 13+miles and one of my most fun rides ever. My new best friend is a Trek Townie Go 7D. Only tough part is getting it loaded on my hitch carrier, which is VERY high (Jeep Grand Cherokee with Thule T2 Pro XTR carrier). This is my third bike purchase at this store and I have no complaints. Thanks you Tammy & George.

I had a warranty issue on a new Surly bike and the team at Pedal Power exceeded my expectations with their customer service. I have a replacement on the way! I highly recommend shopping here.

Very poor customer service. Dropped 2 bikes off 6/15.Supposed to call with an estimate for tune up next day. Had to call 3 times and finally got a quote. Also now they say they can't look at it until 7/11/2023.Never said that when we dropped off bikes. Picking the bikes up and bringing to another shop. NEVER again.

Very nice service. We reached around 5:35 , almost some time before the closing time. But on request they checked the problem in the cycle tyre and replaced the tube in just 15 mins. Price also very good.

First off the quality of repairs was rock solid, and met the nitial time frame for completionThe disatisfaction comes from a quoted price of 130.00 for repairs to and out the door cost of 222.64There were no subsequent out bound calls between the quoted 130, and when I picked up the bike on 5/13

Prompt and friendly service while I waited. Had two bike tires replaced by Dan who did a great job in a lot less time than it would have taken me to do this myself!

I have been a customer here for years, and they consistently impress me. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and there are times when the advice they give me ends up preventing problems that would result in them performing a service on my bike, which is a rarity with a lot of businesses. But they are really passionate about bike riding, whether you are a casual, recreational rider like me or a serious road warrior. They can relate to you wherever you are in your biking needs, and it's such a valuable resource to get answers to questions or having your bike worked on, or to purchase a bike, helmet, really anything you need for safely riding.

Had a very unfortunate incident occur when my bike was run over in a parking lot. I contacted Pedal Power not having been a previous customer and they were ready and willing to help with the process of evaluating and assisting through a crash replacement warranty and served as a third party expert for the insurance claim. Special thanks to Owen, who researched repair options and ultimately wrote up the claim reports for the insurance carrier. Very thankful and appreciative for this shops assistance and for treating me like a long time customer - which I will be from here on out. Highly recommend this shop. TY!
