My husband and I had a nightmare scenario— our rental car tire got completely shredded on the highway on our way home, we called a tow company that really screwed us over, leaving us potentially without a way to get to the closest open tire repair shop (on Sundays almost nothing is open). We spoke to Evan from Monro Auto Service and he was so incredibly kind to us— he told us he would even stay late to work on the car if we could just make it to him by 5:00 pm. Evan single handedly turned this awful experience around for us— getting us incredibly fast service with the most economical tire possible so we could be back on the road to try and return our rental car on time. I highly recommend visiting this shop for all your car needs— and if you have the pleasure of working with Evan, you will be getting the best customer service around!!

I brought my 2019 Jeep in Tueday evening , smoking brakes , pulls to the right .
Wednesday I got a call $1100. Then another call $1900. because they could only find premium parts , then got a call that the inventory was messed up and they had to order parts for Friday . I called Friday morning and asked when it was going to done . They said the order was messed up and they only received one side , they told me it would be ready 1:00pm ish . So I scheduled a ride . 2:30 I called and was told that other vehicles were put in front of me and it wouldn't be done for another 2 1/- more hours . My ride leaves .
4:30 I get a call that it's done but now I need to walk ,because I have no ride anymore . I'm almost 60 , it's very hot and humid . They only fixed the one side , and still cost almost $1000.00.
Pick a different place for your repairs . They simply don't care
UPDATE:
I now have an appointment with the dealer because , the very same reason I had my car worked on and was charged $1000.+ is happening again ! Two and a half weeks later ..Buyer beware !! $1000. and the problem was not fixed .. Another update will happen soon
UPDATE:
I went to the dealer and they said it was the hose to the caliper . It should have been caught the first time . It is now really fixed . So Monro Vernon charged me $1000.+ And did NOT fix the problem !
I will be posting photos of the receipts with BBB, consumer reports and send them to the corporate offices . Maybe it will prevent Monro from ripping off other customers .

I went to Monroe today. I had an appointment scheduled for 12:30 for balancing my wheels on my car. When I got there the guys told me to wait in the waiting room and after 20 minutes one of the guys tried to take my information but the phone rang and both the guys became busy all of a sudden and didn’t want to help me. They had no idea what was going on and then proceeded to tell me that the guy who was supposed to work on my car isn’t here and is coming from Rocky Hill and I would have to wait another 40 minutes after I already waiting over 30 minutes. No one else could fix my tired and when didn’t even know if they fixed the tire balancing machine. Awful experience will not go again.

If I could leave no stars I would, this is by far the worst Monro that I’ve been to. I scheduled my appointment online. It was confirmed but when I got there I told him I had an appointment and the tech told me and I quote “ I’m not even gonna lie to you, I leave in a half hour so you have to reschedule” . Don’t bother spending your money here they are very unorganized and extremely unprofessional.

Left my vehicle for 4 tire change at Vernon CT location. Devin was great! He called me promptly at my appointment time and followed up with me throughout. And he was at the counter when I picked up my vehicle. Great customer service and a friendly positive attitude! Highly recommend.

I was told that my radiator fan needs replacing. It does not. I was was charged for parts a labor; however, the fan was not replaced. It appears the fan is not the problem. The problem I went in with is still there. I will never do business with Monroe Mufflers in Vernon, CT in the future. I am very disappointed.

This place is awesome! The staff are super knowledgeable, polite and professional while keeping everything very laid back. My mechanic, Devin, was a rockstar and explained what my car needed and got me a great deal! All this got done on a Sunday afternoon which is super convenient since I work M-F. Highly recommend this place!!

Excellent customer service needed to front tires balanced immediately for my daughter to get down to West Haven for her last day at work and they got the job done. Bravo, Zulu to Monroe muffler in Rockville Vernon, Connecticut
