The woman that was working the other afternoon made some great wine recommendations and let me sample, and I am so happy with the wine she helped me pick out. She was helpful without being pushy and really knowledgeable, usually I’m just buying wine off the vibe but idk there definitely some really helpful ppl who work here!”
“There is NO OTHER PLACE TO SHOP than Lafayette Wine and Liquors, the customer service and selection here is the best!! Every time I have an event, I simply call in and the staff puts aside a perfect selection of wine and liquor based on the head count. I don't have to do any thinking at all. I am in the customer service industry and the owner of this shop makes me want to give better customer service. If they don't have a wine or liquor in, they will find it. Being able to just drive up and get my boxes of alcohol for any event is just the definition of perfect service. There is no place I would shop! It is locally owned and run, and I am happy to give them my business.”

“This place is really awesome, the owner is super nice and it may not look beautiful, but the prices are great and the staff is pretty friendly!I’m a regular customer, so I actually had the privilege of witnessing the the incident that the two women in the 1 star reviews were talking about.They (the two woman I mentioned earlier) were being incredibly impolite and disrespectful to the owner, and the reason the wine bottle broke was because she snatched it out of his hand. She deserved to pay for it, as it happened because of her rude, entitled behavior.If you’re in the area, give this place a try! The gentleman who owns the store is my favorite, but the other two employees I see most often are awesome too!”

“Small store both on the outside and inside but a large walk in beer cave makes it all worth it. Huge variety of craft beers and especially Connecticut breweries. 2 registers are always open and staff is nice and friendly.”
